Moving company in Pompano Beach, FL
This moving company is actively involved in the local community. They offer discounts to veterans and seniors, and they support various charitable organizations. Knowing they give back made me feel more better about using their services.
Crooks. They tell you it is their van line. The sales people are so nice. They take half your contract price. Once moving day comes, you are now dealing with a different company that is completely ruthless. The movers told us they are 1099 sub-contractors and American Van Lines is their least favorite company to drive for as there are always complaints. Once things are in the truck, you will be upcharged over and over and now they hold your items hostage while threatening you. Worst experience with any company ever.
The most important thing we had to worry about on our move was the upright freezer, which was heavy, awkward and large. It was wrapped well, placed upright in the moving truck and was the first thing they unloaded at the new location. The rest of the items were also delivered safely. We are happy with them!
I was moving across the country, and hired movers from this company. When they arrived, they had all the right equipment for my fragile art pieces. They custom-packed each painting and sculpture with special materials, and ensured everything arrived safely. Many thanks!
The lads began disassembling my TV and king bed as soon as they arrived with their tools. They covered my wall-mounted TV and standing lamp base in moving blankets with extra care. My air fryer and rice cooker arrived like my other household appliances arrived in cartons.
Great movers with an unbeatable competency! The team kept their spirits high while doing their job and that did not impact their incredible pace.
Changing arrangements never go quite as smoothly as you think, but Americas Family & Moving Services did it professionally on moving day. The team remained focused on us, guided us to focus on the things that matter and maintained momentum. Their pragmatic approach was appreciated.
I booked Americas Family & Moving Services movers on a whim after another company ghosted me last minute, and I’m honestly glad it happened. They stepped in without hesitation, got to work immediately, and made my chaotic day feel surprisingly manageable. They even called ahead to make sure they brought the right supplies. Thanks to them, my move went without a hitch. I couldn’t be more grateful to them!
I was moving from Gaithersburg to Havertown and the manager Chris from quality assurance was incredibly rude and condescending. He hung up on me and consistently talked over me while we were trying to set up the time to get our stuff picked up. He also added an extra $500 on top of the price I had agreed to with another quality assurance agent. All of this happened 4 days before my moving date. I will never be using this service again and I suggest you don't either unless you want to be sassed or condescended to.
On Friday afternoon, Americas Family & Moving Services assisted us in our move from PA to AL. The process should have taken a lot longer but the team worked efficiently without being careless. All of my items were delivered undamaged and the movers were courteous all the way through.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Americas Family & Moving Services holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
