They packed and loaded everything in an organized way, making sure fragile boxes were secure. I appreciated how they asked questions before moving certain pieces to avoid any confusion. They arrived on time and stayed within the quoted time frame.
My long-distance move involved transporting a commercial espresso machine from my café to a new location. The movers drained it completely, wrapped it in layers of padding, and strapped it upright. After it was lifted onto the counter, I checked for leaks or scratches; there were none. I could start brewing coffee almost immediately without any delays.
The most important thing we had to worry about on our move was the upright freezer, which was heavy, awkward and large. It was wrapped well, placed upright in the moving truck and was the first thing they unloaded at the new location. The rest of the items were also delivered safely. We are happy with them!
The crew appeared with all the supplies like blankets, dollies and tape. We needed no help, and didn't have to ask for it. They're a recommended read for all!
It only took a few hours to move out of our little apartment. They clearly marked each box – this helped when unpacking. We will certainly hire them again!
We moved from a newly built house to an older rental that had lower ceilings and narrow entryways. I was worried about a couple of oversized chairs and a bookshelf that barely cleared the stairs. Americas Family & Moving Services planned, brought the right equipment, and adjusted quickly on site. Nothing got bumped or scratched. I appreciated how calm they stayed when things got tight near the front door.
We had a piano and several guitars that needed special attention during our move. The movers used stands and straps for the instruments, and padded the piano completely. When the last case was carried in, we tuned the piano and found it perfect. It was a huge relief knowing our music gear had survived without a single issue.
Although the website should have expert packaging services, the services provided were terrible. Many boxes weren't even securely taped, and the packaging was done quickly. They took shortcuts wherever they could, and everything seemed sloppy.
