I would absolutely use them again!
American Way Moving exceeded my expectations during my long-distance relocation! The crew was friendly, efficient, and incredibly organized. They wrapped and loaded everything quickly, ensuring nothing was damaged. Communication was top-notch, and I always knew what to expect. I felt like my move was in great hands. I would absolutely use them again!

Quick and Effortless!
My heavy furniture arrived on schedule. Throughout, I also maintained contract with my relocation coordinator, and he very polite in responding. The moves also reassembled the furniture after unpacking if after delivery. I heartily endorse these folks!

Misleading, Unresponsive, and Deceptive — Avoid at All Costs
I contracted American Way Movers for an interstate move from Pittsburgh to Nashville, and it was one of the worst consumer experiences I’ve ever had. Misrepresentation: They presented themselves as a moving company, but they are actually a broker. This was never made clear until the day of the move. False Promises: I was verbally assured multiple times — even days before the move — that my belongings would be delivered directly within 1–2 days. When the carrier arrived, they told me, “Oh, they lied to you,” and my delivery ended up taking five weeks. Bait-and-Switch Pricing: Despite reviewing my inventory multiple times and assuring me it would fit in the truck space I paid for, the carrier claimed I had 2–3x too much stuff and demanded hundreds more dollars to load it. No Accountability: Once my items were picked up, American Way Movers told me they had no obligation to me and that any issues with the carrier were not their responsibility — even though they hired the carrier. Customer Service Nightmare: There’s one phone number. You’ll wait on hold for 30+ minutes, only to be hung up on. No one returns calls. No one helps. No Claims Support: Now that I’m trying to file a claim, there is no contact info or support available. This company fits the profile of every moving scam listed on the FTC’s website. I strongly urge others to avoid this broker and seek out reputable, direct moving companies instead.

They are Scammers!! Be Aware
If only i can give negative star i would. From the start, I had concerns about Christy White, the lady who quoted me. She was overly pushy, insisted on staying on the phone even when I said I'd call back, and gave me a low quote of $2924 to secure the job. After paying, she became unreachable. On pickup day, a different company showed up a United Speed Movers, claiming to be affiliates of American Movers, and demanded more money or they'd refuse my items a total of $5943. Despite Christy promising delivery within 2-4 days it become one week, the customer service representative I spoke to later seemed dismissive and unhelpful, citing human limitations and unforeseen circumstances like mudslides (which weren't an issue when they arrived). Things escalated when, a day before delivery, someone they demanded an additional $800 for shuttle services due to truck size issues. They should arrive Thursday of July 17 but they arrived Friday, and despite knowing my schedule that I'm leaving that day so my scheduled got delayed because of them, they sent a U-Haul with two workers who didn't seem professional - one couldn't speak English, and they lacked necessary tools, making me dig out my own to assemble furniture. To top it off, one of the workers took my water camera while handling my belongings and go through my stuff. I message them and no response from them. You cant reach any of them anymore. Even the email of the receipt you cant open it anymore. The lack of communication and care after payment has been shocking. This has been my worst experience with movers, and I'm still dealing with the aftermath. So please please please don't take this company they are scammers.

Simple, Seamless and Satisfactory!!!
I entrusted American Way Moving with moving my family heirlooms. They showed utmost care, using gloves to handle delicate items and custom wooden crates for antique furniture. The team created a photographic log before and after the move, providing peace of mind that my cherished possessions were treated with respect.

Spectacular move!!
David team was awesome. They had a systematic plan and didn't mess up our work. They gave us special stuff to protect our sensitive gadgets. During the move, they loaded everything in order, and I was surprised at how organized they were.

They were quick, careful, professional, and polite. One of the crew members on my team was new, and the foreman was a patient and kind mentor in showing the new guy the ropes. That kind of care was apparent at every step, from how the crew worked with each other to how they treated me and my things. American Way Moving made a stressful process much easier. Thanks, guys!

Smooth Movers
I want it to be perfectly obvious that I think they're great and am thrilled that I got to talk to them. Everything went so smoothly, from making the appointment to the actual moving, that I can't believe it's gone. This relocation was a huge gift in comparison to our prior moves, which were both costly and difficult.

Do not use!!
Do not use!! Charged me for three movers at 175 an hour to move my stuff from storage to apartment - ended up costing me almost 1000. when I left my storage the “owner of the company” was on his phone standing in the U haul that they rented while the other two guys were working. Showed up with no dolly except one that comes with the truck when you rent with U Haul. I have a dolly bigger than that and I’m a middle aged woman. Also, missing a TV and several other things that were in my storage. Don’t know where they are .
