Moving company in Houston, TX
The team diligently assessed our needs, provided a fair quote, and dispatched a skilled team with a spacious van. They even assisted us in sorting items for donation. Our cherished possessions were packed with care and met the agreed-upon delivery date, showcasing professionalism.
I was hesitant to move since I had a lot of large art, including a painting that never fit into boxes. The movers delivered a container and corner protectors that perfectly accommodated my picture. They carefully wrapped my small artwork in bubble wrap. Everything was adjusted and padded to prevent scratches. I'm very impressed that they moved my huge L-shaped couch without damaging the walls. Highly recommended!
I was concerned about hiring movers as I had heard about some unexpected fees, but this was a straightforward company from the start. The estimate was very well described, and the actual costs were close to what we expected. The crew was very good; professional, careful and friendly. They didn't treat our belongings like they were on a conveyor belt. Attention was paid to all details.
We had to transport a lot of books and I was afraid that the boxes would get too heavy. They were handled carefully by the movers and apparently, they knew which boxes should remain standing and which should be placed on their sides. They also helped us to position the bookcases just where we needed them.
Because of how fast and competent they were, this moving company shocked me. They made the relocation process easy and stress-free for us.
Other appointments for that day needed to be coordinated with us. The timing of the crew was good and we didn't have to wait for hours.
The driver phoned us 30 minutes before we arrived to confirm the time and kept us very well informed without causing any stress or delay on our closing day.
From start to finish, the movers were top-notch! After listening to my concerns about certain assets, they efficiently dealt with the situation. The careful loading and wrapping of my antique furniture put me at ease. When I arrived at my new place, everything was in its proper place, so unpacking was a snap.
We used them to move to another state. They loaded our whole house the next two days, then shipped it off safely and on time. Out of hundreds of boxes not a single item broke or was lost.
Moving day is frantic, but Richard and the team kept everything under control. Despite my hasty packing of last-minute items, they were courteous and understanding. They brought bubble wrap, which I used for my artwork. I was surprised that they finished early, despite taking their time to ensure safety. On a stressful day, having reliable workers was a huge relief.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. American Knights Moving holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
