I moved from San Jose, California to Raleigh, North Carolina in mid-December for a new engineering role. Even with winter weather and holiday traffic, America First Moving delivered exactly when promised. My home office setup arrived in perfect condition.
We moved from Orlando, Florida to Greenville, South Carolina for my husband’s new job, and America First Moving truly delivered. The movers were friendly, professional, and took extra time to protect our glass furniture. They handled our entire four-bedroom home with ease, and the delivery arrived on schedule.
When my husband and I decided to move from Seattle, Washington to Tampa, Florida, it felt overwhelming at first. We had lived in the same house for fifteen years, and the idea of packing up everything was stressful. America First Moving made it so much easier than we ever expected. Their crew was polite, hardworking, and treated our furniture as if it was their own. They labeled every box, wrapped our fragile items carefully, and kept in touch with us throughout the drive. We arrived to find everything just as we left it.
This company sold us on a so-called “White Glove Service,” which is exactly why we agreed to pay their much higher price — over $3,600 more than the competition. The service was specifically described to us as including: “Packing, transportation, storage, delivery, UNPACKING, and putting all items where they belong, with the exception of kitchen boxes. You won’t have to do a thing — just sit back and watch.” Delivery day came, and not a single box was unpacked. The salesman promised one thing verbally, then changed the wording in the contract so the company could hide behind technical language and keep our money. First, they claimed unpacking “wasn’t in the contract.” When I asked them to review the recorded sales call, they changed their story again and said “White Glove Service” is just an expression — not an actual service they provide. That is plain and simple fraud. To make matters worse, they offered us a $200 “good faith gesture” only if we signed a document stating that: • We received all services promised verbally and in writing • We would not dispute the charges • We would not pursue any additional complaints It felt less like customer service and more like dealing with a moving mafia. If this review helps even one or two people avoid this company and their deceptive practices, then they can keep the $200.

The crew arrived on time, wrapped every piece of furniture carefully, and stayed very organized while loading the truck. Delivery happened within the estimated window and everything arrived without a scratch.
We moved from Marietta, Georgia to Fort Worth, Texas after my spouse accepted a new management role. America First Moving helped us plan everything weeks in advance and stayed organized on moving day. The crew carefully wrapped our furniture, labeled every box, and kept us updated while the truck was on the road. When everything arrived, nothing was damaged and the layout was exactly how we wanted it.

I relocated from a 3-bedroom home in Ocala to a bigger house in Belleview. America First Moving was on time, packed everything properly, and made the entire process smooth. No issues, no delays, and very friendly movers. Easily the most stress-free move I’ve had.
Relocating from Orlando, FL to Charlotte, NC could have been stressful with two kids and a dog in the mix, but America First Moving made it easy for us. The movers were kind, efficient, and worked around the chaos of our family. They even made sure our daughter’s bed was the first thing set up in the new house so she felt at home right away. That small touch meant a lot. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish.
If i could give zero starts, I would. This company is an absolute scam. Even though we showed him all the items in the video call for couple of hrs. They intentionally gave us a low ball estimate by reducing the cubic ft. On the day of pickup, they would argue about the cubic ft and the person who originally estimated wont pickup your call. When they estimate, they would do sweet talk to get the order. We had to pay additional 30% of the money since we dont have choice at the time of pickup. Whats worse is, they blatantly lied about not out sourcing - my move was handled by multiple different companies, none of which were professional or reliable. All of our Bi-cycles broke, some of the boxes were damaged. Initially they told they will deliver in 2-3 days when they want to get the order but they delivered only after 2 weeks. The guys who delivered made all of our carpet dirty in our apartment. We asked to clean it up but they didnt saying they dont have cleaning stuff and they have to urgently deliver something else. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want stress, hidden fees, broken promises and zero accountability. Total nightmare.
