Relocating from Sarasota, FL to Phoenix, AZ with America First Moving was the best decision I could’ve made. My 4-bedroom house included fitness equipment, fragile artwork, and multiple TVs. The movers disassembled and reassembled everything carefully and made sure it all arrived safely. Their organization and teamwork were impressive.
After years in Chicago, Illinois, I decided to take a job in San Diego, California. The thought of moving that far made me nervous, but America First Moving made it painless. They were punctual, friendly, and went above and beyond to protect my electronics and kitchenware. My belongings arrived in perfect shape, and I was settled in within days. It’s rare to find a moving company that truly delivers what they promise.
I moved from San Antonio, Texas to Boise, Idaho for a fresh start and needed a company I could trust from afar. America First Moving exceeded my expectations by keeping consistent communication and delivering on schedule. Everything arrived exactly as packed, which meant a lot to me.
We closed on our new home and moved from Greenville, South Carolina to Madison, Wisconsin in late December. America First Moving helped make sure we were settled before the holidays ended. The crew was respectful, efficient, and careful with every box.
They were very nice and responsive until they cheat you. The moving teams showed up 4 hours before scheduled I was unprepared because I had a lot to take care of before the move. They demanded a $220 tip for junking a bed frame right outside the apartment. They didn't give me a chance to do a walk through after the move because when they called me to say they already left while I was at the dog park. I had to end up paying a smaller moving company to get all the stuff they left behind in my apartment the next day. When you call the back to complain they ghost you. Don't trust them with all that 25 years in the business crap they will tell you.
Only after money, will increase bid by more than $1,000.00. Shows up late by several hours or puts off till next day. Movers smelled like weed. Boxes crushed. Mentioned tip 9 times while unloading. Worst broker in business. They have snotty customer service, who doesn't care. I'm sure they get yelled at a lot, with the service they provide. Buyer be ware.
Our move from Columbus, OH to Nashville, TN was handled very efficiently by America First Moving. The crew arrived on time for pickup and delivery happened exactly when expected.
My move from Spokane, WA to Phoenix, AZ could not have gone better. America First Moving handled every step professionally, from the initial pickup to the final delivery. The movers were punctual, respectful, and extremely careful with all of my belongings.
This company sold us on a so-called “White Glove Service,” which is exactly why we agreed to pay their much higher price — over $3,600 more than the competition. The service was specifically described to us as including: “Packing, transportation, storage, delivery, UNPACKING, and putting all items where they belong, with the exception of kitchen boxes. You won’t have to do a thing — just sit back and watch.” Delivery day came, and not a single box was unpacked. The salesman promised one thing verbally, then changed the wording in the contract so the company could hide behind technical language and keep our money. First, they claimed unpacking “wasn’t in the contract.” When I asked them to review the recorded sales call, they changed their story again and said “White Glove Service” is just an expression — not an actual service they provide. That is plain and simple fraud. To make matters worse, they offered us a $200 “good faith gesture” only if we signed a document stating that: • We received all services promised verbally and in writing • We would not dispute the charges • We would not pursue any additional complaints It felt less like customer service and more like dealing with a moving mafia. If this review helps even one or two people avoid this company and their deceptive practices, then they can keep the $200.
