My move from Key West, FL to Dallas, TX was a big one, but America First Moving handled it perfectly. My 5-bedroom home included a pool table and gym equipment, which they packed and transported with no issues at all. The delivery was on time, and the movers were just as professional at drop-off as they were at pick-up.
My company relocated me from Tampa, FL to Phoenix, AZ for a regional manager position. America First Moving was incredibly professional — they coordinated everything remotely while I was still wrapping up work. A seamless experience start to finish.
My company relocated its operations from Austin, Texas to Raleigh, North Carolina, and I decided to move with it. America First Moving took care of everything from start to finish. They handled my office equipment with great care and packed my home just as efficiently. Communication was clear, pricing was honest, and the entire move was done earlier than scheduled. I couldn’t have asked for a more professional experience.
Complete scam. They sent a third party to move my stuff, who demanded an extra $2500 to do the job, which I had to pay. I felt like I was being blackmailed. I had to agree to the extra payment because I needed to move my stuff ASAP, and they took advantage of it. Never had such a bad experience with a mover.
I moved from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Tucson, Arizona to downsize and start a new chapter. America First Moving walked me through the process patiently and answered all my questions. Packing was done thoughtfully, and delivery arrived exactly when expected. Everything was placed where I asked, which saved a lot of time.
Tengis and Brandon were terrific!! Smooth delivery and everything delivered with care. Great communication, they called the day before delivery to let me know of approximate arrival time, then again the morning of and one hour prior to arrival. Highly recommended!!
America First is a moving broker. They contract with local moving companies to do the actual move. The initial phone quote was $8500 (paperwork sent confirming price). Since this was my fourth quote it lined up with the other three quotes I rec'd. But, when the inventory list was done, the price went to $13,000. They did lower it to $11,587 (which was still extremely high). I had no time to change my moving company. The main person I communicated with was the driver. His command of the English language was poor. The packers could not speak or understand English. The following items were damaged or destroyed: 1) Molding on the hutch was damaged, 2) broken pictures / glass frames, 3) clothes were not hung in wardrobes, they were folded and stacked until there was no more room. Could not reach the bottom of the box and the box was too heavy for me to tip over so I could empty it. 4) wrapped candles in two sets of sheets and the red dye permanently stained and ruined the sheets, 5) salad crisper destroyed, 6) broke glass globe stand, 6) broke standing light stand, 7) sleep # mattress was not wrapped correctly so it does not operate correctly. Will cost me $290 just to have a representative to evaluate the damage. Finally, when I sent my letter, with pictures of all the damaged/broken items, they said they could compensate me $100. At that point, I knew there was no need to speak to them any further. DO NOT USE THSE PEOPLE. They are scammers!

Delivery happened within the estimated window and everything arrived without a scratch.
