The team showed up on time, handled all my furniture, appliances, and fragile items with so much care, and worked quickly without cutting corners. They kept everything organized and even helped reassemble my beds and dining table. Everything arrived safely, and they made what I thought would be a stressful day very smooth and pleasant. I moved my 4 bedroom house from Tampa, FL to Richmond, VA and couldn’t be happier with America First Moving. They wrapped fragile pieces, loaded everything quickly, and arrived exactly when they said they would.
They were very nice and responsive until they cheat you. The moving teams showed up 4 hours before scheduled I was unprepared because I had a lot to take care of before the move. They demanded a $220 tip for junking a bed frame right outside the apartment. They didn't give me a chance to do a walk through after the move because when they called me to say they already left while I was at the dog park. I had to end up paying a smaller moving company to get all the stuff they left behind in my apartment the next day. When you call the back to complain they ghost you. Don't trust them with all that 25 years in the business crap they will tell you.
My cross-country move from St. Petersburg, FL to Portland, OR was handled perfectly by America First Moving. My 4-bedroom house had fragile glass decor, a piano, and oversized furniture. The team was professional and careful, and delivery was right on time. I couldn’t be more satisfied.
Complete scam. They sent a third party to move my stuff, who demanded an extra $2500 to do the job, which I had to pay. I felt like I was being blackmailed. I had to agree to the extra payment because I needed to move my stuff ASAP, and they took advantage of it. Never had such a bad experience with a mover.
After a few years in Denver, we decided to move back to Charlotte, NC to be closer to our parents. With two kids and a house full of heavy furniture, we were nervous about the process, but America First Moving made it smooth. They packed the kids’ rooms with special care and even helped us reassemble the bunk beds on arrival.
Relocated from Las Vegas, NV to Boise, ID and everything arrived within the promised window. The staff was respectful and efficient.
