After accepting a new position, I relocated from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Grand Rapids, Michigan. America First Moving handled the logistics professionally and kept me informed throughout the move. The packing team was efficient, and the delivery crew placed everything exactly where I needed it in the new apartment.
I moved from a 3-bedroom home in Port St. Lucie to a new place in Palm Bay, and America First Moving made it a breeze. They showed up on time, handled my big furniture and fragile decorations with care, and worked quickly without rushing. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and the team was friendly and professional from start to finish. Definitely a company I’ll be calling again for my next move!
Moving from San Francisco, California to Miami, Florida was a big deal for me. I’ve heard horror stories about moving companies, but America First Moving made it simple. The driver stayed in touch during transit, and the delivery team was careful and polite. Nothing was missing or damaged, and they even placed the boxes in the right rooms.
My daughter got accepted into grad school in San Francisco, California, so we helped her move from New York City. America First Moving took the stress off both of us. They provided packing materials, helped organize her boxes by room, and coordinated perfectly with her new apartment’s tight parking rules. Everything arrived right on time, and the movers even carried her heavy bookshelf up two flights of stairs with a smile.
This company sold us on a so-called “White Glove Service,” which is exactly why we agreed to pay their much higher price — over $3,600 more than the competition. The service was specifically described to us as including: “Packing, transportation, storage, delivery, UNPACKING, and putting all items where they belong, with the exception of kitchen boxes. You won’t have to do a thing — just sit back and watch.” Delivery day came, and not a single box was unpacked. The salesman promised one thing verbally, then changed the wording in the contract so the company could hide behind technical language and keep our money. First, they claimed unpacking “wasn’t in the contract.” When I asked them to review the recorded sales call, they changed their story again and said “White Glove Service” is just an expression — not an actual service they provide. That is plain and simple fraud. To make matters worse, they offered us a $200 “good faith gesture” only if we signed a document stating that: • We received all services promised verbally and in writing • We would not dispute the charges • We would not pursue any additional complaints It felt less like customer service and more like dealing with a moving mafia. If this review helps even one or two people avoid this company and their deceptive practices, then they can keep the $200.
Our move from Omaha, NE to Overland Park, KS was handled with professionalism at every stage. America First Moving’s crew was polite, attentive, and detail-oriented. Everything arrived safely and was placed with care.
Complete scam. They sent a third party to move my stuff, who demanded an extra $2500 to do the job, which I had to pay. I felt like I was being blackmailed. I had to agree to the extra payment because I needed to move my stuff ASAP, and they took advantage of it. Never had such a bad experience with a mover.
Our move from Austin, TX to Phoenix, AZ went very smoothly thanks to America First Moving. The team worked efficiently while making sure all of our fragile items were properly protected. Communication remained clear throughout the entire move.
