After years in Houston, TX, we decided to settle in Katy, TX for better schools and a backyard for the kids. America First Moving made the in-state move so easy — they were organized, careful, and very respectful of our home.
I hired America First Moving for my move from Clearwater, FL to Nashville, TN, and the service was top-notch. My 3-bedroom townhouse was packed carefully, and they even helped me reassemble furniture at the new home. No stress, no damage — just a smooth moving experience.
They were very nice and responsive until they cheat you. The moving teams showed up 4 hours before scheduled I was unprepared because I had a lot to take care of before the move. They demanded a $220 tip for junking a bed frame right outside the apartment. They didn't give me a chance to do a walk through after the move because when they called me to say they already left while I was at the dog park. I had to end up paying a smaller moving company to get all the stuff they left behind in my apartment the next day. When you call the back to complain they ghost you. Don't trust them with all that 25 years in the business crap they will tell you.

We moved from Nashville, Tennessee to Charleston, South Carolina, and America First Moving handled it beautifully. Their team packed everything in one day and delivered within the week. They communicated every step of the way, and even our fragile decorations arrived without a scratch.
If i could give zero starts, I would. This company is an absolute scam. Even though we showed him all the items in the video call for couple of hrs. They intentionally gave us a low ball estimate by reducing the cubic ft. On the day of pickup, they would argue about the cubic ft and the person who originally estimated wont pickup your call. When they estimate, they would do sweet talk to get the order. We had to pay additional 30% of the money since we dont have choice at the time of pickup. Whats worse is, they blatantly lied about not out sourcing - my move was handled by multiple different companies, none of which were professional or reliable. All of our Bi-cycles broke, some of the boxes were damaged. Initially they told they will deliver in 2-3 days when they want to get the order but they delivered only after 2 weeks. The guys who delivered made all of our carpet dirty in our apartment. We asked to clean it up but they didnt saying they dont have cleaning stuff and they have to urgently deliver something else. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want stress, hidden fees, broken promises and zero accountability. Total nightmare.

I had a fantastic experience moving from Sarasota, FL to Columbus, OH with America First Moving. My 3-bedroom townhouse was packed up in record time, yet everything was handled gently. They took extra care with my flat-screen TV and glass coffee table, and both arrived in perfect shape. Delivery was right when they said it would be.
