We relocated from Tampa, FL to Portland, OR, and I can’t thank Safe Travels Moving and Storage enough. Every box arrived safely, even my grandmother’s old piano. The 4 bedroom move was done professionally and on time.
America First Moving helped us move from Tampa, FL to Atlanta, GA. It was a 4-bedroom house, and I honestly thought it would take forever to pack, but they worked super quickly and still managed to keep everything organized. They even wrapped our old dining set that’s been in the family for years like it was their own. We were really impressed with the level of care and how professional they were the entire time.
I moved from Syracuse, New York to Greenville, South Carolina for a new position. America First Moving explained the process clearly and stayed in touch throughout the trip. My two bedroom apartment arrived exactly when promised and everything was in great condition.

America First Moving handled everything from packing to unloading, and they were patient with our constant questions. The movers kept us updated during the entire route, which helped ease our nerves.

This company sold us on a so-called “White Glove Service,” which is exactly why we agreed to pay their much higher price — over $3,600 more than the competition. The service was specifically described to us as including: “Packing, transportation, storage, delivery, UNPACKING, and putting all items where they belong, with the exception of kitchen boxes. You won’t have to do a thing — just sit back and watch.” Delivery day came, and not a single box was unpacked. The salesman promised one thing verbally, then changed the wording in the contract so the company could hide behind technical language and keep our money. First, they claimed unpacking “wasn’t in the contract.” When I asked them to review the recorded sales call, they changed their story again and said “White Glove Service” is just an expression — not an actual service they provide. That is plain and simple fraud. To make matters worse, they offered us a $200 “good faith gesture” only if we signed a document stating that: • We received all services promised verbally and in writing • We would not dispute the charges • We would not pursue any additional complaints It felt less like customer service and more like dealing with a moving mafia. If this review helps even one or two people avoid this company and their deceptive practices, then they can keep the $200.
