Relocating our family from Orlando, FL to Atlanta, GA with a 3 bedroom home and two little kids was a challenge. America First Moving’s team was patient, efficient, and even took time to label boxes for easier unpacking.
My move from Ocala to Lexington, KY involved a fully furnished 2-bedroom rental. America First Moving was quick, friendly, and super organized. They kept my glassware and art safe and even reassembled my bed for me. Highly recommend their services.
America First Moving Services has nonexistent professionalism or reliability. Beware of unexpected price increases after they load your belongings onto the truck. Additionally, they and their subsidiaries (AMB Moving and Storage Inc. and Sorto Express Transportation Inc.) will hold your belongings hostage, with little to no support from anyone in resolving these issues. Only "give us what we want, how we want it." The company outsources its moves to third-party contractors, who in turn hire day laborers from in front of Home Depot, making it difficult to track shipments or hold anyone accountable. I’ve been waiting months for my belongings; I’m being pressured into paying additional fees before they’ll deliver my belongings. This is a scam company; they will lie and agree to any request to get your business, then bait and switch and provide nothing promised in the contract or via phone. I never authorized them to place my belongings in storage; they’re holding my items hostage and charging me storage fees for it. They took what they wanted out of my storage and left the rest, saying the whole truck wasn’t allocated to me. I’m still paying for a $500-a-month storage unit and have to hire another moving company and fly back to Las Vegas. They tried to overcharge me at pickup after my belongings had been loaded onto the truck. They forged a document; this is identity theft. Forget about those professional movers they raved about; they hire day laborers from in front of Home Depot. There are no professional movers. Only God knows who they have handling your belongings and in your home. Most of all, America First Moving has a pattern of deceptive pricing, poor communication, and lack of accountability, leading to a highly frustrating experience. If you bring up their dishonesty, they’ll deflect and only talk about extorting money from you. They or their subsidiaries won’t give me the correct billing. America First Moving Services didn’t provide any of what I contracted them to do. I had to involve the bank, and they returned the deposit that is allocated for them, only to add it back to the balance. A refund is just that, a refund. If they thought they deserved the money, they would have fought it at the bank, like every other legitimate business, not refunded and added it back to the bill. This is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. If you're considering them as a moving company, it may be best to explore other options with better reputations. Warning: Avoid them at all costs!!! Save yourself time, money, and your sanity.
I had a big move from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Phoenix, AZ and chose America First Moving after a recommendation from a friend. It was a cross-country relocation with my 5-bedroom house, so I expected issues, but they handled it perfectly. The movers carefully wrapped my large dining table and antique furniture, and when everything arrived, it looked just as it left. They even checked in with me along the way. Their team clearly takes pride in their work.
We moved from Murrieta, California to Meridian, Idaho to be closer to family and needed a company that could handle a full household. America First Moving packed our four-bedroom home carefully, labeling everything by room and priority. The delivery arrived on time and nothing was damaged, even our large sectional and dining table. Overall, it was a very smooth experience.

Tengis and Brandon were terrific!! Smooth delivery and everything delivered with care. Great communication, they called the day before delivery to let me know of approximate arrival time, then again the morning of and one hour prior to arrival. Highly recommended!!
They were very nice and responsive until they cheat you. The moving teams showed up 4 hours before scheduled I was unprepared because I had a lot to take care of before the move. They demanded a $220 tip for junking a bed frame right outside the apartment. They didn't give me a chance to do a walk through after the move because when they called me to say they already left while I was at the dog park. I had to end up paying a smaller moving company to get all the stuff they left behind in my apartment the next day. When you call the back to complain they ghost you. Don't trust them with all that 25 years in the business crap they will tell you.
I recently moved from Houston to Seattle, WA using America First Moving, and overall it was a very good experience. The entire process was well organized and handled professionally from start to finish. The movers took great care of my belongings, especially my fragile glass table and bedroom furniture, making sure everything was well protected during the move. Everything arrived safely without any damage, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that the delivery was about an hour late, but the team communicated and still worked efficiently. Overall, I’d give America First Moving 4 stars for reliable and careful service.
I moved from a 3-bedroom home in Port Orange to a house in New Smyrna Beach, and America First Moving did a fantastic job. They packed my furniture and electronics safely, handled my fragile items with care, and worked quickly without any problems. I couldn’t be happier with their service.
