We sold our home in Reno, NV and moved to Spokane, WA for a quieter pace of life. America First Moving did all the packing, and their team worked like a well-oiled machine. They protected our hardwood furniture with multiple layers and kept us informed while on the road. Everything arrived safely, including our big sectional couch.
I relocated from Arlington, VA to Nashville, TN while balancing work deadlines, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage made everything feel under control. The crew arrived on time, handled furniture carefully, and maintained constant communication. Their professionalism allowed me to focus on settling into my new job.
We relocated from Sarasota, Florida to Denver, Colorado with a four-bedroom household and a lot of sentimental items. America First Moving took the time to explain packing methods and reassured us throughout the move. Despite the distance, everything arrived intact and well organized. It felt like a true full-service experience.
America First is a moving broker. They contract with local moving companies to do the actual move. The initial phone quote was $8500 (paperwork sent confirming price). Since this was my fourth quote it lined up with the other three quotes I rec'd. But, when the inventory list was done, the price went to $13,000. They did lower it to $11,587 (which was still extremely high). I had no time to change my moving company. The main person I communicated with was the driver. His command of the English language was poor. The packers could not speak or understand English. The following items were damaged or destroyed: 1) Molding on the hutch was damaged, 2) broken pictures / glass frames, 3) clothes were not hung in wardrobes, they were folded and stacked until there was no more room. Could not reach the bottom of the box and the box was too heavy for me to tip over so I could empty it. 4) wrapped candles in two sets of sheets and the red dye permanently stained and ruined the sheets, 5) salad crisper destroyed, 6) broke glass globe stand, 6) broke standing light stand, 7) sleep # mattress was not wrapped correctly so it does not operate correctly. Will cost me $290 just to have a representative to evaluate the damage. Finally, when I sent my letter, with pictures of all the damaged/broken items, they said they could compensate me $100. At that point, I knew there was no need to speak to them any further. DO NOT USE THSE PEOPLE. They are scammers!

Tengis and Brandon were terrific!! Smooth delivery and everything delivered with care. Great communication, they called the day before delivery to let me know of approximate arrival time, then again the morning of and one hour prior to arrival. Highly recommended!!

I really appreciated how the movers worked as a team and didn’t cut corners. They were polite, kept me in the loop about timing, and everything arrived just like it left. It’s rare to see that kind of consistency these days, but they delivered.
