My parents decided to leave their condo in West Palm Beach, FL and join us in Charlotte, NC. America First Moving treated them like family, walking them through every step since they hadn’t moved in decades. The team was incredibly patient, and their belongings arrived just as they left.
Our family relocated from Orlando, FL to Atlanta, GA with a 3 bedroom home. America First Moving made it so much easier with kids in the mix. They were organized, friendly, and careful with everything from toys to heavy furniture.
After years in Columbus, Ohio, I finally moved to Tampa, Florida for a change of pace. America First Moving was incredible — honest pricing, clear communication, and hard workers. They even helped reassemble my bed and dining table.
This company sold us on a so-called “White Glove Service,” which is exactly why we agreed to pay their much higher price — over $3,600 more than the competition. The service was specifically described to us as including: “Packing, transportation, storage, delivery, UNPACKING, and putting all items where they belong, with the exception of kitchen boxes. You won’t have to do a thing — just sit back and watch.” Delivery day came, and not a single box was unpacked. The salesman promised one thing verbally, then changed the wording in the contract so the company could hide behind technical language and keep our money. First, they claimed unpacking “wasn’t in the contract.” When I asked them to review the recorded sales call, they changed their story again and said “White Glove Service” is just an expression — not an actual service they provide. That is plain and simple fraud. To make matters worse, they offered us a $200 “good faith gesture” only if we signed a document stating that: • We received all services promised verbally and in writing • We would not dispute the charges • We would not pursue any additional complaints It felt less like customer service and more like dealing with a moving mafia. If this review helps even one or two people avoid this company and their deceptive practices, then they can keep the $200.
Tengis and Brandon worked hard to keep my things safe and secure. They wrapped my belongings and made sure I understood all of the paperwork. I would work with them again.
