The scheduled arrival time of the movers was nine in the morning. without providing any prior notice or expressing remorse, did not show up till 2:00 p.m. After that, they wasted most of their time smoking breaks and often complained about how heavy my packages were. They told me they were done for the day at 6 o'clock even though half of my belongings were still in the truck. Hiring a separate business to do the job the next day cost twice as much.
I have changed from a smaller townhouse to a bigger one, and it turned out to be a very well-managed process. The movers arrived on time and immediately began organizing the packing process.

That's the response I got when I asked the movers about something I knew to be in my dresser drawer when they packed it. Because they "weren't responsible for missing items," the company denied my police report. This has never happened to me before.
