Bloody basters
Do not even consider using Alliance Van Lines. I'm a single 69 year old female and was moving from Maine to SC. I basically had a queen bed, a small side table, two outside chairs and small side table along with 18 boxes. I called a few different companies and somehow my info got out and I was inundated with calls from moving companies. After deciding to go with a different company, I get an email from Alliance two days before my planned move saying the company I chose didn't have a truck for me and to call them asap. I called Alliance immediately and they went on to bad mouth the other company, I was in a panic so I said let me call them, as I already gave a deposit and I'll call you back. Oh no they said, you'll loose your spot if you don't give a deposit now. So I gave them $895. After hanging up I immediately called the original company and they explained it wasn't true and that Alliance was using predatory practices. I then called Alliance back to cancel, all within an hour but they refused to refund me saying it was in the contract. I never signed a contract. Fighting for three months and crickets. I live on a limited budget and this was a very hard hit.

Quick and Effortless!
While en route to my new home, the crew kept me updated via text message and texted again when they were within ten minutes. It was nice that I did not have to guess when they would show up.

Humble and Able Team!
Moving out of my dad's house after college felt like a big step, and I had more stuff than I realized. I had guitars, monitors, and some awkward IKEA furniture that wasn't exactly in great shape. They handled it all carefully and somehow kept it together. It honestly made the whole transition feel easier.

They Took great care off My items
I was moving my home office, which has a lot of expensive electronics, including computers, printers, and monitors. I was worried about the delicate equipment getting damaged during the move. The movers took great care to wrap and secure everything. They even helped me set up my desk and computer in the new space. I felt confident knowing everything was handled with such care.

Very scammy. Beware of pushy sales people and costly surprises.
I put my info and request online for movers to take my belongings from PA to TN. Dave from Alliance Van Lines called me, along with 5 other companies trying to give me quotes. Prior to speaking with Dave, I had received 2 other quotes and was planning to use one of them. Dave sounded like a used car sales man, very pushy and rushed; “limited time offer if you reserve right now”. He gave me a quote, when I said I had one for $1,000 less, he dropped his price down $1100 and added extra things like “long haul” and “elevator or stairs” to sweeten the deal. This all sounded great so I booked but later I learned that Alliance is a broker and not the actual moving company and the information Dave gave me was either inaccurate or he did not fully explain things; he just wanted the business. I will never use this company again, nor recommend it.

WARNING!! AVOID!!! Bait and Switch!!!
WARNING!!! AVOID!!! They will provide you with a great quote and then show up and try to charge you way more. I started out at $4200.00 then I did the review again before the move and they increased the price to $5500.00 I thought that would at least be safe, they showed up and wanted $11,000.00 to move me. They said I had way more stuff than what was quoted. Of course, I said I cannot pay this much I don't have it. So they tried to find another mover to do it for cheaper and they cam e back to me at $9000.00 on top of my $800.00 deposit. I explained I cannot afford it as I don't have the money for this. Of course they said ok if you reject the offer we are keeping your deposit. So I lost $800.00 and had to rent a truck and move it myself. Now mind you my original quote was for 1200 cubic feet and after the movers showed up they said it was 2300 cubic feet and thats why my price went up so much. So the original quote was almost 100% off. You would think they would have an idea when you provide a detailed inventory. They do not know what they are doing. To make matters worse, I packed all of my belongings in a 26ft truck to approximately 1700 cubic feet. So after the movers did a visual inspection of all my belongings they tried to over charge me on the spot by 600 cubic feet and not give me my deposit money back. This company tried to put me in a corner on a day that I planned to have everything done. Thankfully I was able and prepared to say no and had the time to make other arrangements. Most people do not have the option and they have to get the move done that day. I cannot imagine how many people have been taken advantage of by this company. Very disappointed with the experience. The lease they could have done was give me my deposit back since they completely missed the mark on the original and updated estimates. Their contracts are set to take advantage of you. Do not give them a deposit and I would recommend that you only work with a company that does a visual inspection of your goods and provides options if they are going to increase they charge for any reason. Be careful out there, apparently a lot of these small movers operate this way.

The movers came for an early morning job from my place to my new address downtown. They stayed professional the whole time, and the day went according to plan without any delay.

The office relocation was handled carefully and efficiently. The movers kept everything organized, packed electronics safely, and set up desks where needed. It was efficient, professional, and helped us return to work without unnecessary delays.

Trustworthy Movers
My cousin and I moved from TN to DE for college, and we didn’t have a lot of time. The movers packed fast but still made sure things were safe. They helped us label each box so we could find stuff later. It took a few days to reach, but it all showed up in good shape, which helped a lot.

Simple, Seamless and Satisfactory!!!
We moved my grandmother to a smaller home, and I was worried about her things. The movers were patient and asked where she wanted the items. They didn't rush and made sure her favorite pieces were placed safely. It felt like they understood how important this was for her.
