Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
The movers came for an early morning job from my place to my new address downtown. They stayed professional the whole time, and the day went according to plan without any delay.
We hired Alliance Van Lines to help with our long-distance move, and they did an outstanding job. They packed everything with care, transported it across the city safely, and arrived on schedule. Nothing was broken, and everything was set up in the new house just the way we wanted. Their professionalism was truly incomparable!
We moved my grandmother to a smaller home, and I was worried about her things. The movers were patient and asked where she wanted the items. They didn't rush and made sure her favorite pieces were placed safely. It felt like they understood how important this was for her.
I put my info and request online for movers to take my belongings from PA to TN. Dave from Alliance Van Lines called me, along with 5 other companies trying to give me quotes. Prior to speaking with Dave, I had received 2 other quotes and was planning to use one of them. Dave sounded like a used car sales man, very pushy and rushed; “limited time offer if you reserve right now”. He gave me a quote, when I said I had one for $1,000 less, he dropped his price down $1100 and added extra things like “long haul” and “elevator or stairs” to sweeten the deal. This all sounded great so I booked but later I learned that Alliance is a broker and not the actual moving company and the information Dave gave me was either inaccurate or he did not fully explain things; he just wanted the business. I will never use this company again, nor recommend it.
My cousin and I moved from TN to DE for college, and we didn’t have a lot of time. The movers packed fast but still made sure things were safe. They helped us label each box so we could find stuff later. It took a few days to reach, but it all showed up in good shape, which helped a lot.
After retiring, I decided to move closer to my family in another city and hired the crew from here. Their experts helped with every step, and kept me in the loop the whole time too. Thankfully, the move went swiftly and the final bill was reasonable too. I am glad that I hired them!
Friends recommended them, and I liked their estimate for moving my living room, kitchen, and bedroom furnishings. In just 6 hours, the driver and three movers packed and loaded all my possessions. They protected my furniture with foam and peanuts. Moving from old to new be carefully done.
My cross-town move involved a massive collection of art prints. The movers brought flat boxes and special wrapping materials. They were extremely careful with every single rolled-up print. They set up the canvases in the new living room. They were great with the sensitive items. I would highly recommend them.
Charles and the crew moved my family of four last weekend, and it was a busy day. They came prepared with dollies and packing tape, and William made sure to carefully handle my son’s bunk bed, taking it apart and reassembling it perfectly. They wrapped the crib mattress in plastic so it wouldn’t get dirty during the move. I really liked how they stacked the boxes in each room so that nothing blocked doorways. They took the time to double-check that my washer and dryer hookups were properly reconnected before leaving.
I had a small move from my dorm room to a shared place. The movers handled my boxes and computer setup carefully. The service was quick, and the team kept everything organized from start to finish.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Alliance Van Lines holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
