They used these huge rollers to wrap the plastic securely around the furniture, a technique I've never seen before, and I've hired movers at least four times. It made a sound like skates on ice that was as reassuring (knowing they were protecting our stuff) as if they were singing. If you know anyone who is planning to move, I highly recommend them.
