Moving company in Delray Beach, FL
Short move. They were on time and efficient. I was on a work call most of the time. They finished about three hours. Nothing broken. Price was reasonable.
The move overall was good. GPS tracking worked as described and delivery was on time. My one issue was that the coordinator was harder to reach during the middle transit days — I left a message and waited several hours for a callback. The furniture arrived in good condition and price matched the quote. Would still recommend for interstate moves.
Studio move from San Jose to Santa Clara. Two movers, efficient, done in about two hours. My bicycle was handled carefully. Price was exactly what I was quoted. Furniture placed where I directed. Nothing complicated, nothing broken. Good local California move.
From the very beginning, they kept increasing the price. What we were quoted was just to hook you, then they kept increasing the price. The movers worked hard but were not careful. We had to store things because they brought a truck that wasn't large enough. We set up a delivery date and when we expected them on that date they told us the contract allowed them fourteen days from delivery date set. Then the driver couldn't back the truck into the retirement home parking lot, so they charged us an other $3,000. to off load onto a small truck. They lost/took all my wood working tools, 5 boxes, and a desk. I had many old family photos with broken glass that can't be replaced and were packed heavily. I received 6 extra boxes that are not mine and a chair. I filed a claim and received no response. And nobody asked about the extra items I received. I would recommend everyone stay away from these people and use a company that loads and delivers, then unloads your furnishings.
The oversized sectional couch was the challenge on this move. The West Star crew assessed the doorway at the new place before attempting to bring it in and came up with a plan. It made it through without damage to the frame or the walls. The coordinator had noted the potential issue in advance. Good problem-solving under pressure.
Had a home office with electronics. They wrapped everything in anti-static blankets. Took about three hours. Nothing damaged. The guy even labeled my boxes. Price was reasonable.
Moved from Fort Lauderdale to Pompano. The crew was polite and careful. Wrapped my TV and mirrors. Took about 5 hours. My cat hid under the bed. They didn't care. Everything was fine.
Full house move. Three bedrooms and a garage full of stuff. They sent a three-man crew. Took a full day. No damage. They even helped me set up my washer. Price was in the middle of the quotes I got.
Large Montana move from Missoula to Kalispell. Crew of four, long day, long drive north. The coordinator had arranged the timeline to account for the drive. Furniture arrived in good condition. Price matched the estimate. Beds and large pieces disassembled and reassembled. A few surface marks on one dresser but the crew flagged it before I noticed.
The move from Bozeman to Helena was well organized overall. The crew was professional and worked steadily. One minor issue — a moving blanket was left on a piece of furniture at delivery and we didn't notice until later that a small scratch was underneath. The coordinator followed up and handled it fairly. Price matched the estimate. Good experience overall.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. West Star Moving Solutions LLC holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
