The communication in the days leading up to the move was also slow — I had to call to confirm the window. Final price was close to the quote. Good movers, but the logistics coordination needs work.

Oregon to Florida, coast to coast done right

Moving from Oregon to Florida is a serious undertaking. West Star's coordinator managed both ends and GPS tracking gave us visibility during the five transit days. Delivery was within the guaranteed window. Everything arrived in good condition. The coordinator was reachable when we had questions. For a move of that distance, the full-service coordination was essential.

Idaho apartment move, no surprises on the bill

Local Boise-to-Meridian move. Crew of two, arrived on time, efficient. Price matched the estimate exactly. Nothing was damaged. The crew disassembled and reassembled the bed frame without issue and placed everything where I directed. Done in about three hours. Simple Idaho move done without any complications.

From the very beginning, they kept increasing the price. What we were quoted was just to hook you, then they kept increasing the price. The movers worked hard but were not careful. We had to store things because they brought a truck that wasn't large enough. We set up a delivery date and when we expected them on that date they told us the contract allowed them fourteen days from delivery date set. Then the driver couldn't back the truck into the retirement home parking lot, so they charged us an other $3,000. to off load onto a small truck. They lost/took all my wood working tools, 5 boxes, and a desk. I had many old family photos with broken glass that can't be replaced and were packed heavily. I received 6 extra boxes that are not mine and a chair. I filed a claim and received no response. And nobody asked about the extra items I received. I would recommend everyone stay away from these people and use a company that loads and delivers, then unloads your furnishings.

Electronic moved safely

Had a home office with electronics. They wrapped everything in anti-static blankets. Took about three hours. Nothing damaged. The guy even labeled my boxes. Price was reasonable.

Plants survived the move

We moved from Orlando to Winter Park. The crew was friendly and worked fast. My wife was worried about her plants—they made sure they were secure. Took about four hours. Everything arrived in good shape. No surprise fees.

Sacramento to Fresno, organized California crew

Large California move, crew of four. The Complete Care System coordinator handled the pre-move details and the final walk-through. Everything was accounted for at delivery and placed in the right rooms. Price was within $60 of the estimate. My wife's china arrived intact thanks to the premium packing materials. Good large-scale California move.
