Montana winter move better than expected

Moving in November in Montana is not ideal. The West Star crew wrapped all the furniture before taking it outside and used floor protection at both locations. The coordinator had arranged an early start to account for road conditions. Everything arrived in good condition. My wife's antique wardrobe made it without a scratch. Price matched the estimate.

From the very beginning, they kept increasing the price. What we were quoted was just to hook you, then they kept increasing the price. The movers worked hard but were not careful. We had to store things because they brought a truck that wasn't large enough. We set up a delivery date and when we expected them on that date they told us the contract allowed them fourteen days from delivery date set. Then the driver couldn't back the truck into the retirement home parking lot, so they charged us an other $3,000. to off load onto a small truck. They lost/took all my wood working tools, 5 boxes, and a desk. I had many old family photos with broken glass that can't be replaced and were packed heavily. I received 6 extra boxes that are not mine and a chair. I filed a claim and received no response. And nobody asked about the extra items I received. I would recommend everyone stay away from these people and use a company that loads and delivers, then unloads your furnishings.

Seattle to Olympia, large crew for a large move

Large move from Seattle to Olympia. Crew of four, full day. The move coordinator had planned the truck loading and room assignments in advance. Beds were disassembled and reassembled. My trampoline was broken down and set up again at the destination. Price matched the estimate. Good large Washington move.

Stairs didn't slow them down

Moved from Sarasota to Venice. The stairs in my townhouse were a pain. They didn't complain. Wrapped all my furniture. Took about six hours. Price was in the middle of the quotes i got.
