Moving company in Delray Beach, FL
Full house move. Three bedrooms and a garage full of stuff. They sent a three-man crew. Took a full day. No damage. They even helped me set up my washer. Price was in the middle of the quotes I got.
Small move. They were on time and worked quickly. I was eating lunch when they finished. Nothing broken. Price was fair.
Big family move across the state. Four bedrooms and a piano. They brought extra guys for the piano. Took two days. Everything arrived. The piano was in tune. Worth the price.
I had a studio’s worth of furniture plus a storage unit full of boxes—awkward mix. West Star sent a two-person team that loaded everything logically. The challenge was a heavy old safe that two of us couldn’t budge. They used a shoulder dolly and slid it onto the truck like it weighed nothing. No grunting or complaining. They even offered to rearrange the truck mid-load when I realized I forgot a few bins. Friendly service, clear pricing, and no damage. Would use them again without hesitation.
From the very beginning, they kept increasing the price. What we were quoted was just to hook you, then they kept increasing the price. The movers worked hard but were not careful. We had to store things because they brought a truck that wasn't large enough. We set up a delivery date and when we expected them on that date they told us the contract allowed them fourteen days from delivery date set. Then the driver couldn't back the truck into the retirement home parking lot, so they charged us an other $3,000. to off load onto a small truck. They lost/took all my wood working tools, 5 boxes, and a desk. I had many old family photos with broken glass that can't be replaced and were packed heavily. I received 6 extra boxes that are not mine and a chair. I filed a claim and received no response. And nobody asked about the extra items I received. I would recommend everyone stay away from these people and use a company that loads and delivers, then unloads your furnishings.
Small studio move. They showed up on time and got to work. I was still packing when they arrived but they helped me finish. Took about three hours. Nothing damaged. Price was what they quoted.
Moving in November in Montana is not ideal. The West Star crew wrapped all the furniture before taking it outside and used floor protection at both locations. The coordinator had arranged an early start to account for road conditions. Everything arrived in good condition. My wife's antique wardrobe made it without a scratch. Price matched the estimate.
Local Idaho move handled efficiently. Two movers arrived on time and finished well within the estimated window. They asked about furniture placement at the destination rather than guessing. Price matched the quote exactly. Nothing was damaged. Bed frame put together correctly. Simple move, done right.
During our Seattle office relocation, we needed temporary storage for items that couldn't move immediately. West Star coordinated the storage pickup, holding, and delivery around our new location's readiness date. Items were stored securely and retrieved on schedule. The coordinator managed the timing so nothing arrived before we were ready. Good storage solution for a commercial transition.
The office staff was helpful over the phone, and the moving crew matched that energy. They showed up within the promised window and did a full walkthrough before touching anything. The only real snag was my sectional sofa that had to go around two tight corners. They unstrapped it, rotated it three different ways, and got it through without scraping paint. The movers even wiped down the walls afterward. Final cost matched the written estimate. A calm, capable move from start to finish.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. West Star Moving Solutions LLC holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
