Had to move my stuff out of storage after two years. Everything was dusty and awkward to carry, but the movers didn’t complain. They loaded it all up and even helped me clean a few items. Honest, reliable, reputable company!
The employees are very knowledgeable and eager to assist. The service itself is reasonably priced. The day after we arrived in Florida, they even prepared my kitchen and cabinets for use in Texas.
Fantastic work! They packed peace of mind in addition to our belongings. They took great care, and there were no surprises when we opened the boxes. Everything at our new house went without a hitch.
This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage. I had a confirmed pickup window, and they did not show up during that window. There was no proactive communication and no clear update. I had to chase multiple numbers myself to get any information. When they finally arrived / the move progressed, the pricing situation escalated. STIVEN took payment from me via Venmo prior to the move without providing clear written documentation explaining what the payment covered and what the binding total would be. Ultimately, the move never happened as promised. After they demanded additional money well beyond what I was quoted…$10,000, it became extremely difficult to get my belongings unloaded and returned from the truck without signing some obscure document. I requested a moment to read the paperwork I was being asked to sign to unload the truck, and STIVEN threatened that it would be ‘$500 per minute’ if I didn’t sign immediately. I had to get the cops involved because the driver threatened to leave with my things if I didn’t sign it immediately. I felt pressured and trapped in a situation that should never happen with a professional mover. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and being very cautious with brokers: verify the actual carrier, demand a binding estimate and itemized paperwork, and do not send peer-to-peer payments without full documentation. Our experience was wonderful until AFTER the contract was signed. A completely different set of people from the person who originally quoted our move cross country. We ended up paying thousands of dollars because we needed a shuttle service to take products moved outside to a cargo van then to a semi. Their comment was it’s in the contract if needed. My comment was that in this day and age my driveway can be seen thru Google maps or many other sites. Their logistics manger (if there is one) should have reviewed the access before giving the quote. Movers were never on time. I had sent photos of everything to be moved and we had eliminated many things also. The price went up $5000! When it came time to bring boxes into our house that was delayed again by hours. I paid for white glove move. The guys at the move in site did not know this, had no tools to put beds together. They were complaining to me and I said call your supervisor. One box with all fragile glassware had numerous broken items. To submit a claim is like pulling teeth. You need your signed bill of lading that had changed numerous times. It took them 2 months to email that to me. Poor poor service everywhere except for the sales person that initially quoted the move. Never use this company. They are impossible to deal with once the move starts.
These movers packaged everything as if it were their personal belongings rather than throwing anything into boxes. I saw them carefully place my breakables in boxes surrounded by soft foam sheets. When I unpacked my luggage, everything was fantastic. They saved me from becoming a hypertensive patient. Many thanks fellas.
We relocated our band equipment: drums, speakers, keyboards, and guitars. The movers loaded carefully, cushioned everything, and carried amps without damage. If you’re a musician, trust me, hire them. They know how to handle gear.
The great people at Unlimited Moving & Storage LLC made my recent move so much easier, and I'm thankful for their help. From the first call I made to ask how much it would cost to the very last box being dumped at my new home, they were very professional and polite. They solved all of our problems and answered all the questions right away. Their customer service was excellent. The moving company was very careful with my things; they tried to wrap and protect fragile items in their boxes. In addition, they were hardworking and worked nonstop for a long time to finish the task on time and without any problems. Their communication kept me updated on their work throughout the process, which surprised me. These people helped me calm down when the rain suddenly started, and a power outage happened. Besides that, they tried to talk to my kids and include them in the process. The movers did everything they could to make sure the long trip from NH to IL was as easy as possible. I had lots of food and snacks, but they had temperature-controlled boxes to store them and protect them from waste. There were not too many fees associated with moving. From my point of view, the price wasn't too high. A lot of work went into meeting the movers' schedule. Well, no doubt, the movers were very careful with our things and did not break or damage any of them. Besides being nice, the movers were also very friendly with my kids. There are no doubts about hiring them again or telling my friends and family about them.
I moved into a new-build home and had appliances, boxes, and brand-new furniture to deliver. I was worried about scratches and dings, but the movers used floor protection and blankets without me even asking. They double-checked placement before leaving and helped unpack a few bigger pieces. It felt like they cared about how the home looked when they left.
The experience was exceptional, from the initial estimate to the moving process. The employees were patient and professional throughout the entire move. I highly recommend their services and will hire them again in the future.
