Moving company in Lincolnwood, IL
Throughout the whole process, from obtaining a quote to organizing the big day and the actual relocation, this outstanding group was there to support me every step of the way.
The team arrived on time and was very organized in packing up all of my belongings. They took extra care with my fragile items and made sure that everything was secured properly. I was AMAZED by how they handled my furniture, especially my antique armoire. They wrapped it in a quilted pad and used a dolly to move it carefully, without damaging it or the walls.
I moved cross-country, while Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC handled all my home items. I was nervous about coordinating both at the same time, but James kept everything aligned. They made sure my furniture arrived right after I landed and helped set things up before the car arrived. It felt like everything just clicked into place.
I had to move my parents’ belongings from their house into an apartment. The movers worked steadily, asked where things should go, and treated their furniture kindly. They made the whole day easier. Great Customers Services!
The process of moving with them went off without a hitch. They were there just on time, navigated to the new location without a hitch, and wrapped everything up securely.
We used Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC to move our restaurant kitchen equipment to a new location. James knew exactly how to load it so nothing shifted. The truck was spotless too. They were done by noon, and we reopened the next day.
I had a last-minute move and these movers came to the rescue! They handled my one-bedroom apartment with speed and precision, using quality moving supplies. Their friendly attitude made the whole process enjoyable.
I moved into a new-build home and had appliances, boxes, and brand-new furniture to deliver. I was worried about scratches and dings, but the movers used floor protection and blankets without me even asking. They double-checked placement before leaving and helped unpack a few bigger pieces. It felt like they cared about how the home looked when they left.
Had to move my stuff out of storage after two years. Everything was dusty and awkward to carry, but the movers didn’t complain. They loaded it all up and even helped me clean a few items. Honest, reliable, reputable company!
This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage. I had a confirmed pickup window, and they did not show up during that window. There was no proactive communication and no clear update. I had to chase multiple numbers myself to get any information. When they finally arrived / the move progressed, the pricing situation escalated. STIVEN took payment from me via Venmo prior to the move without providing clear written documentation explaining what the payment covered and what the binding total would be. Ultimately, the move never happened as promised. After they demanded additional money well beyond what I was quoted…$10,000, it became extremely difficult to get my belongings unloaded and returned from the truck without signing some obscure document. I requested a moment to read the paperwork I was being asked to sign to unload the truck, and STIVEN threatened that it would be ‘$500 per minute’ if I didn’t sign immediately. I had to get the cops involved because the driver threatened to leave with my things if I didn’t sign it immediately. I felt pressured and trapped in a situation that should never happen with a professional mover. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and being very cautious with brokers: verify the actual carrier, demand a binding estimate and itemized paperwork, and do not send peer-to-peer payments without full documentation. Stiven Mendez: I’ve retained counsel and will be pursuing all available legal remedies.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
