Moving company in Lincolnwood, IL
We used Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC to move our restaurant kitchen equipment to a new location. James knew exactly how to load it so nothing shifted. The truck was spotless too. They were done by noon, and we reopened the next day.
Moving the office sounded like a headache with desks, monitors, and cables everywhere. But the crew came in and handled it. By the next day, we were back to work like nothing had happened. Thanks guys. You are awesome.
Hiring professional movers proved to be the best decision when moving my belongings although I initially considered utilizing friends for help. The team members showed exceptional professionalism throughout their work. The crew provided valuable advice about unpacking and space arrangement in addition to their professional service.
These guys broke a ton of my stuff and when I put in a claim they were the ones that needed to pay me. I never received any payment. DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS!!
This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage. I had a confirmed pickup window, and they did not show up during that window. There was no proactive communication and no clear update. I had to chase multiple numbers myself to get any information. When they finally arrived / the move progressed, the pricing situation escalated. STIVEN took payment from me via Venmo prior to the move without providing clear written documentation explaining what the payment covered and what the binding total would be. Ultimately, the move never happened as promised. After they demanded additional money well beyond what I was quoted…$10,000, it became extremely difficult to get my belongings unloaded and returned from the truck without signing some obscure document. I requested a moment to read the paperwork I was being asked to sign to unload the truck, and STIVEN threatened that it would be ‘$500 per minute’ if I didn’t sign immediately. I had to get the cops involved because the driver threatened to leave with my things if I didn’t sign it immediately. I felt pressured and trapped in a situation that should never happen with a professional mover. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and being very cautious with brokers: verify the actual carrier, demand a binding estimate and itemized paperwork, and do not send peer-to-peer payments without full documentation. Stiven Mendez: I’ve retained counsel and will be pursuing all available legal remedies.
The speed with which Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC responded to my calls made me anxious, as my parents had little choice but to remove me from the house. This allowed me to secure an appointment for that very day. Unlike other movers I've dealt with, this one handled everything smoothly and efficiently. The good news is that the move did not damage a single one of my belongings. I recommend using their moving services.
I moved cross-country, while Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC handled all my home items. I was nervous about coordinating both at the same time, but James kept everything aligned. They made sure my furniture arrived right after I landed and helped set things up before the car arrived. It felt like everything just clicked into place.
My pride and joy, my piano, was treated with care. After multiple layers of blankets, a cushioned dolly was securely fastened to the car. When they arrived at the new house, they leveled and positioned it as requested.
Couldn’t be more satisfied! They helped us pack our last few boxes at no extra cost and made our move stress-free. We’re so thankful!
Had to move my stuff out of storage after two years. Everything was dusty and awkward to carry, but the movers didn’t complain. They loaded it all up and even helped me clean a few items. Honest, reliable, reputable company!
