Moving company in Lincolnwood, IL
Grateful for all the assistance their staff provided during booking. They were professional and addressed all my queries patiently. Plus, the move itself went smoothly too. I will definitely reach out to them for future relocations!
This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage. I had a confirmed pickup window, and they did not show up during that window. There was no proactive communication and no clear update. I had to chase multiple numbers myself to get any information. When they finally arrived / the move progressed, the pricing situation escalated. STIVEN took payment from me via Venmo prior to the move without providing clear written documentation explaining what the payment covered and what the binding total would be. Ultimately, the move never happened as promised. After they demanded additional money well beyond what I was quoted…$10,000, it became extremely difficult to get my belongings unloaded and returned from the truck without signing some obscure document. I requested a moment to read the paperwork I was being asked to sign to unload the truck, and STIVEN threatened that it would be ‘$500 per minute’ if I didn’t sign immediately. I had to get the cops involved because the driver threatened to leave with my things if I didn’t sign it immediately. I felt pressured and trapped in a situation that should never happen with a professional mover. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and being very cautious with brokers: verify the actual carrier, demand a binding estimate and itemized paperwork, and do not send peer-to-peer payments without full documentation. Stiven Mendez: I’ve retained counsel and will be pursuing all available legal remedies.
Had to move my stuff out of storage after two years. Everything was dusty and awkward to carry, but the movers didn’t complain. They loaded it all up and even helped me clean a few items. Honest, reliable, reputable company!
I moved cross-country, while Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC handled all my home items. I was nervous about coordinating both at the same time, but James kept everything aligned. They made sure my furniture arrived right after I landed and helped set things up before the car arrived. It felt like everything just clicked into place.
An awesome experience with Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC. Despite the streets being busy for our weekend move, it was amazing how easily the movers were able to wrap things up in a timely manner. They took shortcuts during transit thanks to which there wasn’t any delay! They have my sincerest appreciation!
The lighter items (drawers, tables, throw rugs, photographs, dishes, clothing, etc.) we were confident we could move on our own, but I ended up calling Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC for help with the heavier items, and they were fantastic. They were great and I should call them again for my move next month.
Simply put, I thought they were great, and the next step I take will involve them, because they were really careful and diligent with everything I brought along and were also cost-effective.
I had to move my parents’ belongings from their house into an apartment. The movers worked steadily, asked where things should go, and treated their furniture kindly. They made the whole day easier. Great Customers Services!
These men were experts in their field. They arrived at my place, went to work, and completed everything immediately.
Nicholas kept asking me where each box should go instead of just setting it down. I liked that approach. It showed respect for my things and made the move feel more personal.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
