Moving company in Lincolnwood, IL
We relocated our band equipment: drums, speakers, keyboards, and guitars. The movers loaded carefully, cushioned everything, and carried amps without damage. If you’re a musician, trust me, hire them. They know how to handle gear.
I called Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC to help with moving my art gallery pieces to a new space downtown. Each sculpture was wrapped individually, and paintings were transported upright. When they were placed around the gallery, not a single one needed cleaning or repair. It was clear the movers understood the value of each piece, and they treated everything with great care.
I had to move my parents’ belongings from their house into an apartment. The movers worked steadily, asked where things should go, and treated their furniture kindly. They made the whole day easier. Great Customers Services!
I had to pack up my home library for a move across town, and I was worried about my bookshelves and fragile editions. The movers took extra care wrapping each piece, especially the glass-front cabinet I was nervous about. I appreciated how they handled the weight without stacking boxes poorly. By the time we arrived, not a corner was bent or damaged. I couldn't have asked for better care.
The movers brought great energy to what could have been a stressful day. They stayed upbeat, handled every challenge with a smile, and kept everything on track. Their positive attitude turned the move into a surprisingly good experience.
This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage. I had a confirmed pickup window, and they did not show up during that window. There was no proactive communication and no clear update. I had to chase multiple numbers myself to get any information. When they finally arrived / the move progressed, the pricing situation escalated. STIVEN took payment from me via Venmo prior to the move without providing clear written documentation explaining what the payment covered and what the binding total would be. Ultimately, the move never happened as promised. After they demanded additional money well beyond what I was quoted…$10,000, it became extremely difficult to get my belongings unloaded and returned from the truck without signing some obscure document. I requested a moment to read the paperwork I was being asked to sign to unload the truck, and STIVEN threatened that it would be ‘$500 per minute’ if I didn’t sign immediately. I had to get the cops involved because the driver threatened to leave with my things if I didn’t sign it immediately. I felt pressured and trapped in a situation that should never happen with a professional mover. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and being very cautious with brokers: verify the actual carrier, demand a binding estimate and itemized paperwork, and do not send peer-to-peer payments without full documentation. Stiven Mendez: I’ve retained counsel and will be pursuing all available legal remedies.
We used Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC to move our restaurant kitchen equipment to a new location. James knew exactly how to load it so nothing shifted. The truck was spotless too. They were done by noon, and we reopened the next day.
The driver arrived with no helper, He took a long time backing truck up into storage facility. I have a lot of damages and missing at least one lamp. I have called and have not received a return call. I wouldn't trust these movers with my doll house.
I moved into a new-build home and had appliances, boxes, and brand-new furniture to deliver. I was worried about scratches and dings, but the movers used floor protection and blankets without me even asking. They double-checked placement before leaving and helped unpack a few bigger pieces. It felt like they cared about how the home looked when they left.
It's rare to find movers that actually listen. I had a few special requests, and they followed everything without rolling their eyes or rushing. That alone made this worth it.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
