Moving company in Lincolnwood, IL
Nicholas kept asking me where each box should go instead of just setting it down. I liked that approach. It showed respect for my things and made the move feel more personal.
We worked with the company to determine prices as our budget was tight. No hidden fees, just honest, transparent pricing. Honesty like that matters greatly.
Had to move my stuff out of storage after two years. Everything was dusty and awkward to carry, but the movers didn’t complain. They loaded it all up and even helped me clean a few items. Honest, reliable, reputable company!
We had a few large mirrors and glass tabletops, and I wasn’t sure they’d make it. But this company’s moving crew came prepared with custom-cut cardboard corners, thick padding, and clear markings on every surface. Everything arrived made it over safely!
Our townhouse move took around 5 hours with two trucks. The crew carried wardrobes, beds, and couches up narrow stairs without damaging walls. Their teamwork stood out. I would gladly recommend them to anyone with big furniture.
The transition from urban to rural settings was daunting, but this crew handled it with grace and professionalism. In order to transport my possessions to a remote house, they expertly prepared for the long journey and navigated difficult terrain. true rescuers.
We had to store our stuff for 3 weeks between selling our house and getting into the new one. Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC offered climate-controlled storage, and the movers also sent us photos of our stuff once it was settled in – it was all stacked neatly, and everything was covered. They made the delivery just as smoothly. Excellent experience!
We relocated our band equipment: drums, speakers, keyboards, and guitars. The movers loaded carefully, cushioned everything, and carried amps without damage. If you’re a musician, trust me, hire them. They know how to handle gear.
This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage. I had a confirmed pickup window, and they did not show up during that window. There was no proactive communication and no clear update. I had to chase multiple numbers myself to get any information. When they finally arrived / the move progressed, the pricing situation escalated. STIVEN took payment from me via Venmo prior to the move without providing clear written documentation explaining what the payment covered and what the binding total would be. Ultimately, the move never happened as promised. After they demanded additional money well beyond what I was quoted…$10,000, it became extremely difficult to get my belongings unloaded and returned from the truck without signing some obscure document. I requested a moment to read the paperwork I was being asked to sign to unload the truck, and STIVEN threatened that it would be ‘$500 per minute’ if I didn’t sign immediately. I had to get the cops involved because the driver threatened to leave with my things if I didn’t sign it immediately. I felt pressured and trapped in a situation that should never happen with a professional mover. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and being very cautious with brokers: verify the actual carrier, demand a binding estimate and itemized paperwork, and do not send peer-to-peer payments without full documentation. Stiven Mendez: I’ve retained counsel and will be pursuing all available legal remedies.
I moved cross-country, while Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC handled all my home items. I was nervous about coordinating both at the same time, but James kept everything aligned. They made sure my furniture arrived right after I landed and helped set things up before the car arrived. It felt like everything just clicked into place.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
