Moving company in Lincolnwood, IL
One of the team members delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers to my new home as a surprise, and it brought tears to my eyes. Wow, that really is exceptional!
When we planned our move, we knew we’d have a time crunch. We had to be out of our old apartment by noon on the last day of the lease. The movers showed up bright and early, swiftly stacking boxes and disassembling my bed. Then they drove to the new house and unloaded everything with equal speed and care. We managed to avoid any fees for overstaying, thanks to their efficiency. It was a massive relief.
Had to move my stuff out of storage after two years. Everything was dusty and awkward to carry, but the movers didn’t complain. They loaded it all up and even helped me clean a few items. Honest, reliable, reputable company!
I was impressed by their caution. Before moving my heavy belongings, they covered the carpet with thick cardboard. My cookware was stored in dish-pack containers with additional padding. They wrapped my plants in plastic to protect them from rain during transport. They meticulously secured everything in the van to prevent movement.
I moved cross-country, while Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC handled all my home items. I was nervous about coordinating both at the same time, but James kept everything aligned. They made sure my furniture arrived right after I landed and helped set things up before the car arrived. It felt like everything just clicked into place.
Moving the office sounded like a headache with desks, monitors, and cables everywhere. But the crew came in and handled it. By the next day, we were back to work like nothing had happened. Thanks guys. You are awesome.
I could see right away that this team was full of people who were genuinely enthusiastic about what they did for a living. They showed up pumped and ready to start. They wasted no time in getting to work, expertly wrapping furniture and placing boxes within. They wrapped up faster than I had expected, and everything went off without a hitch.
We used Unlimited Moving and Storage LLC to move our restaurant kitchen equipment to a new location. James knew exactly how to load it so nothing shifted. The truck was spotless too. They were done by noon, and we reopened the next day.
This move was booked through Value Added Movers, and the contracted carrier that showed up (or was assigned) was Unlimited Moving and Storage. I had a confirmed pickup window, and they did not show up during that window. There was no proactive communication and no clear update. I had to chase multiple numbers myself to get any information. When they finally arrived / the move progressed, the pricing situation escalated. STIVEN took payment from me via Venmo prior to the move without providing clear written documentation explaining what the payment covered and what the binding total would be. Ultimately, the move never happened as promised. After they demanded additional money well beyond what I was quoted…$10,000, it became extremely difficult to get my belongings unloaded and returned from the truck without signing some obscure document. I requested a moment to read the paperwork I was being asked to sign to unload the truck, and STIVEN threatened that it would be ‘$500 per minute’ if I didn’t sign immediately. I had to get the cops involved because the driver threatened to leave with my things if I didn’t sign it immediately. I felt pressured and trapped in a situation that should never happen with a professional mover. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and being very cautious with brokers: verify the actual carrier, demand a binding estimate and itemized paperwork, and do not send peer-to-peer payments without full documentation. Stiven Mendez: I’ve retained counsel and will be pursuing all available legal remedies.
Thomas and his exceptional team relocated our large sectional couch without damaging or scratching the walls. I was excited by how efficiently they organised everything. Our settlement would not have been possible without their hard work!
