Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
The expected delivery window was not followed, and the belongings arrived much later than planned. We had to change our arrangements while waiting for the truck. Updates were not provided regularly, which made the delay more frustrating. Better communication would have helped.
United One Vanlines did a great job for our company. During our initial test of the quote service, everything went according to plan. Thanks to the video tour, we were able to assess the situation and make more accurate predictions about potential losses. Consequently, the cost was quite evident.
This was my first time hiring movers, and I wasn't sure what to expect. They showed up friendly, packed everything tightly, and kept talking to me through the process. Not a single thing broke
My boxes were stacked so high in the truck that I saw them swaying when we hit a bump. I asked them to secure the load, but they laughed and said it would be fine. It’s a miracle more stuff didn’t break.
We moved a piano, two bookshelves, and 15 boxes into storage. The movers arranged everything so neatly that I still have room left inside. Very impressed. Don’t hesitate to call them if you need storage moves.
The night before the move, my employer cancelled my booking and offered no assistance in finding a substitute. They wouldn't return my deposit, so I frantically tried to make other arrangements. I will never recommend anyone.
We are very grateful to United One Vanlines for their timely replies and excellent advice throughout our recent staff transfer. You exceeded our expectations with your prompt responses to our inquiries, timely delivery of the requested materials, and expert management of all additional responsibilities assigned to you by United One Vanlines.
Avoid this moving company at all costs. All around a nightmare experience. They showed up late. The customer service was straight out of KGB Eastern Bloc style something. They took no care of my mom's inventory (furniture, lamps, household goods, etc) and ended up destroying or damaging over 5k usd of her stuff during the interstate move. And they offered a 40 usd refund after I documented it all and took hours detailing it. Absolutely do not allow this company to touch your move from home to new home.
James and Jack were fantastic to deal with; they were sensitive with my belongings and did a fantastic job. The phrase "anything is possible" embodied optimism and resolve in their eyes. Consequently, the pressure dropped rapidly. I think it's fantastic.
The service lacked professionalism and proper coordination. There were multiple scheduling issues, and I had to follow up several times for information. The experience could have been much better.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. United One Vanlines holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
