The expected delivery window was not followed, and the belongings arrived much later than planned. We had to change our arrangements while waiting for the truck. Updates were not provided regularly, which made the delay more frustrating. Better communication would have helped.
My boxes were stacked so high in the truck that I saw them swaying when we hit a bump. I asked them to secure the load, but they laughed and said it would be fine. It’s a miracle more stuff didn’t break.
We were moving into a new home that required some storage solutions in between, and the movers from United One Vanlines were incredibly accommodating. They helped us store some items at their facility for a few weeks before delivering everything to our new place. It was seamless, and they kept us updated on everything along the way as well. It was an awesome experience!
Our attic had holiday decorations stacked in old boxes. The movers handled them gently and packed them tightly. I opened those boxes in the new house and saw nothing broken, and I was thankful for their care.
The night before the move, my employer cancelled my booking and offered no assistance in finding a substitute. They wouldn't return my deposit, so I frantically tried to make other arrangements. I will never recommend anyone.
The service lacked professionalism and proper coordination. There were multiple scheduling issues, and I had to follow up several times for information. The experience could have been much better.
I felt much less pressure and stress as a result of using them, and I was able to develop rapidly, efficiently, and successfully. The assistance I received was excellent, and I am very grateful.
I’ve used a few moving companies before, but this was my best experience yet. First, the price quote they gave me was spot on, no shady last-minute charges. The movers were super polite and fast, wrapping my vintage wooden dresser with thick blankets before strapping it in. I was impressed with their speed—they had my entire one-bedroom packed in under two hours! My building has a tight elevator schedule, and they coordinated so well that we didn’t have to wait long. At my new place, they reassembled my dining table and tightened the wobbly leg that had been loose for months. Now that’s service!
I can’t praise them enough. I had a mover setup and they called that morning to cancel because their truck had been vandalized! United One Vanlines was on my list of previous contacts. They found a team for me and arrived by 11:00! They only had a two man team versus three. But they made it work!! Two amazing guys were my movers. They were so hard working! They had a lot of walking to do. They were so careful with my precious antiques and everything else.
I had to move my piano and a few heavy bookshelves to my new house. The movers handled everything so carefully, especially the piano, and they set it right where I wanted.
