I had to move my piano and a few heavy bookshelves to my new house. The movers handled everything so carefully, especially the piano, and they set it right where I wanted.
My boxes were stacked so high in the truck that I saw them swaying when we hit a bump. I asked them to secure the load, but they laughed and said it would be fine. It’s a miracle more stuff didn’t break.
The night before the move, my employer cancelled my booking and offered no assistance in finding a substitute. They wouldn't return my deposit, so I frantically tried to make other arrangements. I will never recommend anyone.
The service lacked professionalism and proper coordination. There were multiple scheduling issues, and I had to follow up several times for information. The experience could have been much better.
When I first called to get a quote, I was quoted $3200 for a certain amount of the truck. The gentleman on the phone told me that I could go over as long as I “” didn’t have a piano or a pool table‘ when they got there. I had more boxes then I originally thought so I contacted the guy who I spoke to and he said it would be fine as long as I didn’t have a pool table or a piano two days before the mover got there I got a call from customer service and they increased the price by another thousand dollars for the extra boxes. The day of the move the driver was supposed to be at my house between nine and noon but he didn’t get there till 4 o’clock. I was told they would be at least two men to load the furniture and boxes. The driver came with his seven year old daughter and his girlfriend and they were there till 9 PM. The driver took pictures of everything sent it to the office and they increased my bill another $2000 at this point I am up $6000. I had all of the boxes ready to goin the garage and had the little bit of furniture in the living room ready to go. It took them five hours because they had one man. Once I had an address to have my stuff shipped too. I made arrangements for them to deliver it. When the driver got to my town. He informed me his tractor trailer is too big to come down my road now they’re charging me another $500 to deliver my stuff. This company has done nothing for me from the get-go. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!
This was my first time hiring movers, and I wasn't sure what to expect. They showed up friendly, packed everything tightly, and kept talking to me through the process. Not a single thing broke
Horribly dishonest company. They moved a resident into our condo building a few months ago. The movers themselves were rude, disrespectful, and ignored rules regarding where they should access the building. The movers caused $1500 in damages to a brick wall with the truck when departing and kept going. The owner of the company, Luis, disclosed that he had not obtained background checks on the movers prior to hiring them, and said he had fired them. Luis kept promising to pay for the wall repair. I’ve called at least 15 times, and he kept promising to pay. He is dishonest and obviously doesn’t care about his company’s reputation. Be warned.
We moved a piano, two bookshelves, and 15 boxes into storage. The movers arranged everything so neatly that I still have room left inside. Very impressed. Don’t hesitate to call them if you need storage moves.
Avoid this moving company at all costs. All around a nightmare experience. They showed up late. The customer service was straight out of KGB Eastern Bloc style something. They took no care of my mom's inventory (furniture, lamps, household goods, etc) and ended up destroying or damaging over 5k usd of her stuff during the interstate move. And they offered a 40 usd refund after I documented it all and took hours detailing it. Absolutely do not allow this company to touch your move from home to new home.
The expected delivery window was not followed, and the belongings arrived much later than planned. We had to change our arrangements while waiting for the truck. Updates were not provided regularly, which made the delay more frustrating. Better communication would have helped.
