This was a very disappointing experience. The crew kept stopping between trips and never seemed focused on finishing the job. A local move shouldn't take this long. I expected much better service.
We enlisted their services to move our photo studio, which was quite fragile with lighting equipment and backdrops. They safely and on time provided them. We're thankful!
I had high hopes based on the reviews, but my experience was completely different. The movers worked at a very slow pace and didn't seem organized. The move took much longer than expected. I wouldn't use this company again.
I have used two other moving companies before Summit Moving & Services. The difference was that this time, nothing was vague. They told me what was included, how long it would take, and what to expect on the day. Amazing service!
I paid for professional movers, but I ended up doing part of the work myself. The crew moved so slowly that my family had to help carry boxes just to get the move finished before dark.
I didn't realize that we had more boxes than I thought and I had raised my expectations about how long the move would take. The crew stayed organized and worked efficiently. Even before heading to the next room, they went over the various rooms to ensure that there was no room that they had missed. Everything arrived safely.
The overall relocation took much longer than anticipated. There were delays during loading and unloading, and the schedule kept changing throughout the day. Although everything was eventually moved, the extended process was tiring and inconvenient. Better planning could have made the move considerably smoother.
There were many pieces of wooden furniture that we had to move, and the crew took care of the corners and surfaces. Everything appeared as good as it had prior to the move.
