Horrible experience from start to finish. Company outsourced to another moving company and zero communication prior to move. Furniture arrived ripped. Movers directly asked for tips after a terrible service. Would not recommend.
My biggest worry about moving to LA was the expected cost. But, these guys gave me a great quote and managed to keep down the costs. They did an excellent job handling my stuff quickly and efficiently without any unnecessary delays that could push up the hours. Good job!

To ensure their safety, the movers carefully packed my numerous books into sturdy, tiny boxes. To unpack easily, they write the genres and names on the boxes. They realized how valuable my book collection is.
We had an unbelievably great experience with Starving Students Movers. They were very professional and work amazingly hard. They were careful with our belongings, moved them efficiently and were extremely careful with our old house and our new home. I absolutely loved these movers! They text me when they were on their way and arrived timely! They helped me organize my move-out so that I could be efficient with their time and my cost. They even helped me take down some lighting and fixtures that I had a hard time removing by myself. They were so careful to avoid damaging any of my belongings and packed everything up and brought to the destination. John and Tom were the best! I would recommend them to anyone wanting a quick and efficient move-out!

Great experience, will hire again for my next move. We had three movers who were very efficient and respectful of our belongings. They moved quickly but stopped to ask questions when necessary. The total time for the move was close to the original estimated time.
