Avoid this company, they are crooks
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions. They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.

I had to move my parents’ 4-bedroom house
I had to move my parents’ 4-bedroom house in Weston after they sold it unexpectedly fast, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage came highly recommended. The timeline was tight—we had less than a week to pack, move, and store half their belongings while the new place was being finished in Boca Raton. The crew handled the entire process seamlessly. They split the load perfectly between the storage unit and the temporary rental, kept detailed inventory lists, and treated even my mom’s fine china with great care. With so much going on, having movers who were organized and calm made all the difference. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Move from FL to OR
Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!

I recently downsized from a 3-bedroom home in Jacksonville
I recently downsized from a 3-bedroom home in Jacksonville to a 1-bedroom apartment in Orange Park after becoming an empty nester, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage made the transition feel effortless. I was overwhelmed by how much needed to be sorted, packed, and moved, but the team showed up calm, organized, and ready to help. They assisted me in separating what was going into storage versus the new place, labeled everything clearly, and handled my glass dining set with extra care. They even helped rearrange furniture until it felt like home. It was more than just a move — it was peace of mind.
