Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!

I had to move my tiny 1-bedroom bungalow from Gulfport to a seniors' village in St. Pete Beach, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage treated the job with more care than I ever expected. I don’t own much, but what I do have is meaningful — my sewing machine, handmade quilts, and a vintage rocking chair from my mother. The movers were gentle, respectful, and took time to wrap everything with care. They even asked where I wanted each item placed to make the new space feel like home. It wasn’t just a move — it was a thoughtful experience I’ll always be grateful for.

Avoid this company, they are crooks
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions.They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.

The crew arrived with everything they needed—blankets, crates, straps—and knew exactly how to load my mix of delicate and bulky items. They even helped me unload and place the chicken coop frame in the right spot on the property. They worked with patience and purpose the whole day. I felt supported from start to finish.
