The lake house had steep outdoor stairs and some oversized furniture that I thought would be a nightmare to move but the crew didn’t flinch. They brought lifting straps maneuvered everything without a scratch and even protected the door frames with padding. My kayak and fishing gear were secured perfectly too. What could’ve been a stressful day ended up smooth and surprisingly quick thanks to their experience and efficiency.
We moved from Newark, NJ to Nashville, TN and the crew made the process feel simple. They loaded quickly, explained each step, and made sure everything was protected before hitting the road. The final price stayed close to the estimate too.
Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!
I needed to move my entire vintage boutique from a storefront in St. Augustine to a new shop in Jacksonville Beach and Safe Travels Moving and Storage handled every detail perfectly. My shop was full of fragile mirrors, mannequins, racks of delicate clothing, and a few antique display cases. The crew took great care to pad and wrap every single item, making sure nothing snagged or broke. They even carefully transported my neon sign so it would light up properly in the new store. It was clear they had experience with retail moves, and they kept me updated at every stage. A truly top-notch team.
We moved from Indianapolis, IN to Jacksonville, FL and the entire process felt well managed. The movers were respectful, efficient, and careful with fragile items.
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions.They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.
