Avoid this company, they are crooks
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions.They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.

I recently moved from a tiny efficiency apartment in Delray Beach to a shared space in Boynton Beach for a new job, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage did an excellent job. Even though it was a small move, I had a lot of oddly shaped furniture and several fragile electronics. The crew treated it with the same care you’d expect from a full-scale household move. They wrapped everything tightly, fit it all into the truck like a puzzle, and handled my gaming setup with precision. The move was finished ahead of schedule, and nothing was scratched or out of place. Great pricing, great people, and great service from start to finish.

I had to relocate my freelance art studio
I had to relocate my freelance art studio from a backhouse in St. Petersburg to a new creative space in Clearwater and Safe Travels Moving and Storage handled the entire process with incredible care. My studio was packed with canvases paint supplies sculptures and delicate lighting setups. The movers arrived early brought custom padding for the artwork and carefully loaded everything so nothing shifted or bent. They even helped reposition the larger pieces in the new space to avoid direct sunlight. Their attention to detail and respect for my work really stood out. I’ve never had such a smooth move with fragile items involved.

Move from FL to OR
Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!
