Move from FL to OR
Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!

When I decided to relocate my home gym from my garage
When I decided to relocate my home gym from my garage in Punta Gorda to a fitness space in Port Charlotte, I needed movers who could handle some serious weight. Safe Travels Moving and Storage were amazing — they took extra care disassembling my weight racks, carefully wrapped my dumbbells and barbells to prevent damage, and even moved my bulky treadmill without a scratch. I had to move my small pottery studio from my backyard shed in Vero Beach to a proper storefront in Sebastian and Safe Travels Moving and Storage was fantastic. Clay wheels, kiln shelves, handmade pots — I was worried they’d chip or crack along the way, but the team was incredibly careful. They brought extra padding for my most fragile pieces, kept my wheel upright, and handled everything like they were moving their own belongings. They even helped me reorganize my shelving once we arrived. If you need movers who appreciate craft and care about your work, these are the ones to call.

Avoid this company, they are crooks
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions.They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.
