Avoid this company, they are crooks
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions. They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.

I had to move my home baking business
I had to move my home baking business from a duplex kitchen in Clearwater to a commercial space in Largo, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage was amazing from start to finish. I had racks of baking supplies, mixers, ovens, and tons of fragile glass jars and containers. The team arrived early with protective bins, secured my industrial mixer like it was a newborn, and even double-wrapped all my ingredient jars. They were respectful, fast, and super organized, which is rare when you're dealing with a mix of personal and business items. I was back in the kitchen baking the very next day — totally smooth process.

I recently helped my parents move from their longtime condo
I recently helped my parents move from their longtime condo in Boca Raton to a senior living community in Delray Beach, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage made the transition so much easier than we expected. They were gentle with my mom’s delicate glassware and patient as my dad gave instructions about his record collection. They even made an extra stop at a storage unit on the way and helped organize everything by room to make unpacking simpler. Their kindness and professionalism turned an emotional day into a calm and positive experience. We’re truly grateful for their care.

Move from FL to OR
Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!

I recently moved from a small house
I recently moved from a small house in Melbourne to a shared artist residency in Cocoa and Safe Travels Moving and Storage completely exceeded expectations. My space was packed with canvases, easels, paint supplies, and a large glass-top worktable that I was convinced would get damaged. But the team showed up with custom padding, corner guards, and crates designed for fragile items. They treated everything like museum pieces and even helped arrange the setup at the new studio so I could get back to work immediately. It’s rare to find movers who truly respect creative spaces. I was seriously impressed.

I needed to move my tech gear and home office setup from my apartment
I needed to move my tech gear and home office setup from my apartment in Fort Myers to a townhouse in Estero and Safe Travels Moving and Storage absolutely delivered. I work remotely full-time and have multiple monitors, a standing desk, and a lot of wiring, so I was nervous about damage or disorganization. But these guys packed everything with precision, labeled each cable box, and even helped reassemble the desk exactly how it was before. Nothing was scratched, tangled, or out of place. I was fully operational again that same evening. Professional, fast, and totally reliable.
