Move from FL to OR
Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!

I run a small photography business
I run a small photography business out of my home in Lakeland, and when I upgraded to a studio space in Winter Haven, I needed a moving company that could handle delicate gear. Safe Travels Moving and Storage was the perfect choice. They listened carefully to my concerns, especially about my lighting rigs, backdrops, and camera cases. They brought the right packing materials, used extra padding for fragile tech, and even custom-wrapped my large framed prints. The move was completed quickly and without a single scratch or shift. Their professionalism gave me peace of mind, and I was up and running in my new studio the next day.

Avoid this company, they are crooks
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions. They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.

I had to move my small home library
I had to move my small home library and vintage furniture from my 2-bedroom rental in Clearwater to a historic bungalow in Dunedin, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage was absolutely incredible. I was especially concerned about my first edition books and an antique writing desk, but the movers handled everything with white-glove care. They used special book crates, wrapped every piece of wood furniture meticulously, and even adjusted shelving at the new house to fit my larger pieces. The entire crew was professional, patient, and clearly experienced with delicate moves. This wasn’t just a move; it felt like working with preservation experts. I couldn’t be happier.

Highly trusted movers, Top notch
Best moving experience I’ve had. Professional, fast, and very polite. They were especially careful with my fragile boxes and managed to navigate a tight apartment hallway without a single scuff on the walls. 10/10 service!

I recently moved from a remote farmhouse
I recently moved from a remote farmhouse in Alachua to a cottage near Gainesville to be closer to my new job, and I was worried the dirt roads and tight driveway would be a problem. But Safe Travels Moving and Storage handled it all with zero issues. The crew arrived in a smaller truck to navigate the narrow path, and they brought portable dollies to carry furniture across uneven ground. They even wore boot covers inside without me asking—small detail, but it meant a lot. My vintage pieces, plants, and oddly shaped décor all made it in perfect condition. It felt like they’d done this exact kind of move a hundred times before.
