I moved from my 3-bedroom rental
I moved from my 3-bedroom rental in Ocala to a newly purchased farmhouse just outside Dunnellon, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage made the process feel completely stress-free. We had everything from heavy wood furniture to outdoor tools, garden equipment, and even a chicken coop frame. The crew handled it all with care and creativity. They loaded the tools separately to avoid damage, used extra blankets to protect antique dressers, and even helped position our porch swing in the new spot. It was clear they’ve done all kinds of moves—not just city apartments. Honest, hardworking, and super respectful the entire time.

I moved out of my college apartment
I moved out of my college apartment in Gainesville to start a new job in Ocala and Safe Travels Moving and Storage made my first solo move a total breeze. I only had a bedroom and some shared living space furniture, but they treated it like a full-service job. My desk, TV, and boxes of books were all handled with care, and they even wrapped my full-length mirror without me asking. The team was upbeat, fast, and super respectful. For a first-time mover on a budget, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They made me feel confident every step of the way.

I moved my 2-bedroom apartment from Brandon
I moved my 2-bedroom apartment from Brandon to a high-rise unit in downtown Tampa and Safe Travels Moving and Storage handled every challenge like pros. The building had strict elevator time slots and limited loading space but the crew coordinated everything perfectly. They showed up early, wrapped my furniture quickly, and navigated the tight elevator with zero damage to my walls or belongings. My glass coffee table, mounted TV, and oversized couch all made it without a scratch. It’s hard to find movers who are both fast and careful, but these guys nailed it. I’ll definitely be calling them again.

I recently helped my parents move from their longtime condo
I recently helped my parents move from their longtime condo in Boca Raton to a senior living community in Delray Beach, and Safe Travels Moving and Storage made the transition so much easier than we expected. They were gentle with my mom’s delicate glassware and patient as my dad gave instructions about his record collection. They even made an extra stop at a storage unit on the way and helped organize everything by room to make unpacking simpler. Their kindness and professionalism turned an emotional day into a calm and positive experience. We’re truly grateful for their care.

Avoid this company, they are crooks
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions. They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.

Move from FL to OR
Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!
