Safe Travels did a great job with my move from Florida to Oregon. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!

Avoid this company, they are crooks
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions.They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.

I recently moved my home office and personal belongings from a condo in Fort Pierce to a townhouse in Vero Beach. Safe Travels Moving and Storage made the experience excellent. They packed my electronics securely, handled my fragile décor gently, and were extremely organized. The team was friendly, communicative, and completed the job faster than expected. TRASH, SCAM COMPANY
The drivers who picked up our belongings said we had to pay another $1,000 for the items we had because they said it didn't fit in what they said was 300 cubic feet. I spent 2 hours in the truck on FaceTime with their boss measuring it over and over to prove to them that they were lying and only offering us 200 cubic feet, which they finally did admit to. While I was measuring it, one of the drivers got in the front seat and was repeatedly revving the engine and shaking the truck back and forth. Then I got chastised by them for being on the truck because it was a liability. A liability because I might get hurt? Or because I was exposing their lie to scam me out of another $1,000? And when I mentioned something to the drivers about Ian and Cassandra from the office who I'd talked to, they said "they're just salespeople. They don't know what they're talking about." But Ian had told me it was his own company and he owned his own trucks. Then the drivers told me it would all be delivered on July 9. Then the office said the drivers don't know delivery times and it would be another 2-3 days after that. After 3 more days, they said it would be another 3-5 days, meaning it was going to take them 2+ weeks to make a drive I did in 4 days with 3 kids and a cat. And then they randomly showed up the next day with several boxes missing as well as a full-sized standing mirror. They didn't know where the rest of it was. I followed up several times for a week before finally getting a response that they had no idea where the rest of our items were. Of course, in the fine print of the contract the $10,000 liability covers a maximum of 60 cents per pound. In other words, absolutely nothing. FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO USE!!!
