I moved from Milwaukee, WI to Houston, TX and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The movers were professional, respectful, and clearly experienced with long-distance relocations. All of my items arrived safely and were placed exactly where I needed them.
When I accepted a new job offer in Denver, CO, I had less than two weeks to relocate from Tampa, FL. Safe Travels Moving and Storage saved me. They packed everything professionally, stayed in touch throughout the trip, and delivered right on time.
We moved from Indianapolis, IN to Jacksonville, FL and the entire process felt well managed. The movers were respectful, efficient, and careful with fragile items.
They overcharged, they charged me for 2500 cubic feet and delivered 1200 cubic feet, their answer was I had to pay for empty space in the trucks. They held my trucks until I paid $19,40020. cash. They lost, damaged or destroyed $10,636.21 of my possessions.They are not a moving company. They hire terrible movers who did not even cover my possessions with moving blankets. They had no insurance for my loss. They are a terrible elder abuse company. I am a 79 year old disabled vet. They gave one price then it was $19,000 then it became $49000. the movers even punched holes in my wall and broke floor tile in my new home. When I asked for help they said they were not responsible. Unless you like paying to be cheated out of large sums of money and have your possessions destroyed never use these crooks. I have tried to submit damage photos, but was not able. They also stored my possession in water causing my dresser to rot and my safe to rust shut. This cost me a lot of time and money to open.

I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about long-distance moves, so I was a little nervous going into it, but I ended up being very happy with how everything went. The crew was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and treated my belongings with care. I especially appreciated the communication along the way because I always knew what was going on. Everything arrived safely, and there were no major headaches or surprises. For a move all the way across the country, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d definitely recommend Safe Travels to friends or family who need to make a long-distance move!
