Moving company in Charlotte, NC
The packing team brought boxes, packing paper, and bubble wrap and got through it surprisingly quickly. Glasses were individually wrapped and the heavier dishes were packed in smaller boxes rather than overloaded ones.
Our original moving plans fell apart less than a week before we had to leave, so I started calling companies in a panic. Pure Relocation Services was able to work with the date we needed and gave us a clear idea of what information they needed for the estimate.
The final amount increased a little because I had more items than the original inventory, which was fair. The important thing was that I got out of the apartment on time.
We had to relocate a small office with eight desks, monitors, filing cabinets, conference room furniture, and several boxes of documents. Our biggest concern was losing too much work time
I've moved apartments with friends before, and it usually turns into an all-day event involving somebody's pickup truck and a lot of bad decisions. This time I hired movers. The movers had everything out much faster than I would have. They wrapped the furniture and carried the TV separately instead of tossing it between boxes.
I had around 15 boxes, a small desk, bookshelves, a mattress, a TV, clothes, and way too many books. The movers wrapped the TV and furniture and were pretty quick about getting everything out of the apartment
Everything had been labeled in advance, but they still confirmed which furniture belonged in each office at the new location. Desks were taken apart where necessary and reassembled on arrival. The conference table was probably the most difficult piece because of its size and weight. They wrapped the top and moved the base separately. By the end of the evening, the major furniture was in place and our staff only had to reconnect equipment the next morning
At the new place, they placed boxes by room and reassembled the bed. One box of bathroom supplies ended up in the kitchen, but that was the only mix-up
We moved from Denver to Salt Lake City and had a pretty full three-bedroom house. Communication about delivery was consistent and we didn't have to keep calling for updates.
The movers ended up helping with kitchen items, lamps, pictures, closet contents, and some garage items. They had packing paper, boxes, tape, and bubble wrap available, which saved us from running to the store again. The actual packing was careful. Our dishes, glasses, and framed pictures arrived safely. Furniture was wrapped before loading and the crew reassembled the bed and dining table at the new place
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Pure Relocation Services holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
