Moving company in Charlotte, NC
The estimate we received was reasonably close to the final cost. We did pay a little more because we added a bookcase, extra boxes, and packing for two large mirrors that weren't included in the original inventory
I've moved apartments with friends before, and it usually turns into an all-day event involving somebody's pickup truck and a lot of bad decisions. This time I hired movers. The movers had everything out much faster than I would have. They wrapped the furniture and carried the TV separately instead of tossing it between boxes.
We used them for a full-service move from Tampa to Savannah because we were both working right up until moving day. The crew packed the kitchen, closets, and several fragile decorations. They used wardrobe boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, and plenty of tape. The furniture was wrapped well, including our sectional sofa, dining table, and bed frames. At delivery, they reassembled the beds and placed the larger items where we wanted them. A few boxes were not labeled as specifically as I would have liked, but nothing was lost or damaged. Overall, the packing help saved us a lot of time and made the move much easier.
Moving from a condo in San Diego to Denver was more complicated than I expected. There were elevator reservations, HOA rules, and a lot of fragile items. Pure Relocation Services helped me plan the timing and gave me a realistic delivery window. The moving crew wrapped my glass table, TV, and bedroom set carefully. They also made an inventory list before loading, which helped me feel better about the long-distance part. Delivery took place within the agreed window, and everything was accounted for. The move was not cheap, but the price made sense for the distance and amount of packing involved. I felt they handled it professionally.
Everything had been labeled in advance, but they still confirmed which furniture belonged in each office at the new location. Desks were taken apart where necessary and reassembled on arrival. The conference table was probably the most difficult piece because of its size and weight. They wrapped the top and moved the base separately. By the end of the evening, the major furniture was in place and our staff only had to reconnect equipment the next morning
I moved from Philadelphia to Washington, DC for work and needed movers who could handle a one-bedroom apartment without making the process complicated. Pure Relocation Services gave me a clear quote and answered my questions before move day. The movers wrapped my couch, mattress, TV, and desk. They were careful in the apartment hallway and used a dolly for the heavier boxes. Delivery was within the window they gave me, and the unloading was quick. One small box ended up in the wrong room, but it was clearly labeled and easy to find. Overall, the move was smooth, practical, and handled with care.
The packing team brought boxes, packing paper, and bubble wrap and got through it surprisingly quickly. Glasses were individually wrapped and the heavier dishes were packed in smaller boxes rather than overloaded ones.
The final amount increased a little because I had more items than the original inventory, which was fair. The important thing was that I got out of the apartment on time.
We moved from Minneapolis to Madison and had a house full of furniture, including a dining table, beds, garage shelving, and a lot of boxes. Pure Relocation Services gave us a detailed quote and explained the schedule clearly. The crew worked carefully and used moving blankets on nearly everything. They took apart the bed frames and reassembled them at the new house. They also protected the door frames when moving larger pieces. The delivery window was accurate, and the unloading went smoothly. Moving is still exhausting no matter what, but this company made the heavy part much easier.
The movers ended up helping with kitchen items, lamps, pictures, closet contents, and some garage items. They had packing paper, boxes, tape, and bubble wrap available, which saved us from running to the store again. The actual packing was careful. Our dishes, glasses, and framed pictures arrived safely. Furniture was wrapped before loading and the crew reassembled the bed and dining table at the new place
