Moving company in Charlotte, NC
The two movers who came out clearly knew how to use the space. They loaded the heavy furniture first, used moving blankets between pieces, and tied things down so boxes weren't shifting around.
Our original moving plans fell apart less than a week before we had to leave, so I started calling companies in a panic. Pure Relocation Services was able to work with the date we needed and gave us a clear idea of what information they needed for the estimate.
I've moved apartments with friends before, and it usually turns into an all-day event involving somebody's pickup truck and a lot of bad decisions. This time I hired movers. The movers had everything out much faster than I would have. They wrapped the furniture and carried the TV separately instead of tossing it between boxes.
Our three-bedroom house was completely full, and the garage probably added another room's worth of things. I was worried that I had underestimated how much we owned. The movers checked the inventory with us and pointed out the extra items before loading. I appreciated knowing about it rather than being surprised later. They wrapped all the major furniture, including our bedroom sets, dining table, sectional, and two TVs. The garage items were awkward because we had tools, shelving, bikes, and outdoor equipment, but they organized everything pretty well.
The estimate we received was reasonably close to the final cost. We did pay a little more because we added a bookcase, extra boxes, and packing for two large mirrors that weren't included in the original inventory
Our previous move was done with friends and family, and it took almost two days. This time we decided to hire people who actually knew what they were doing. The difference was obvious right away. Furniture was wrapped instead of just carried out, boxes were loaded in an organized way, and nobody was standing around trying to figure out how to move the sectional. We had three bedrooms, kids' furniture, bikes, toys, garage boxes, a dining set, and way too many kitchen boxes. The movers kept things moving without making us feel rushed
The crew took time to organize the loading instead of just pulling everything out randomly. They used dollies for the heavier pieces and wrapped a wood cabinet and two dressers before putting them on the truck
Our townhouse had three levels, so there was a lot of carrying up and down stairs. The crew handled beds, dressers, a sectional, dining furniture, boxes, bikes, and several awkward garage items
The packing team brought boxes, packing paper, and bubble wrap and got through it surprisingly quickly. Glasses were individually wrapped and the heavier dishes were packed in smaller boxes rather than overloaded ones.
We hired movers to help my mother downsize after living in the same house for almost 30 years. It was an emotional move because she had to decide what to take, what to store, and what to give to family.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Pure Relocation Services holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
