Anyone who has moved in New York knows the distance can be short and the move can still be complicated. Our old building had tight stairs, a narrow hallway, and basically no convenient parking. Our three-bedroom house was completely full, and the garage probably added another room's worth of things. I was worried that I had underestimated how much we owned. The movers checked the inventory with us and pointed out the extra items before loading. I appreciated knowing about it rather than being surprised later. They wrapped all the major furniture, including our bedroom sets, dining table, sectional, and two TVs.
