I have a gun safe and an oversized sectional, two of the most annoying things to move. Add stairs and a move to another state and I braced for problems. The crew had the equipment and knew what they were doing. The safe took four of them and a lot of care but they got it down and loaded without dropping it or damaging the stairs. Worth it to not lift a finger

Between work and a newborn there was zero chance I could pack and move a house across state lines myself. Full-service was the only realistic option. They packed everything, wrapped and disassembled the furniture, loaded, drove to Dallas, unloaded, and reassembled the beds and table. All the materials came with them. Delivery hit the window. Busy work week, so we outsourced the move

The packing crew handled books, kitchen items, closets, artwork, electronics, and a ridiculous amount of miscellaneous household stuff. They used wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes and clearly marked the boxes by room. The next day, the moving crew wrapped the furniture and loaded everything. I had an upright piano and several antique pieces that have been in the family for generations, plus the usual fragile kitchen stuff. This was the move I was most nervous about. They brought the right equipment for the piano, wrapped it thoroughly, and used proper technique getting it out and onto the truck. The antiques were padded and crated where needed.
