Bait and Switch Masters - Look Elsewhere HORRIBLE company. Undersold me to get the contract. Contacted me 2 DAYS before my move and took my quote from $1800 to over $3000 dollars - rude initial movers with endless attitude that smelled like smoke. The company did not help whatsoever. Nothing was relayed to the moving team, who complained about stairs and even threatened to leave if I didn't pay them MORE for stars that were already part of my contract. Above all of this even after the extra 1000-1200 dollars I had to pay, they didn't even have the room to take everything that I had on my manifest meaning I had to leave about $1000 worth of furniture on a curb that I had to replace. WORST moving experience I have ever had - and I have moved across the country twice. John is a slick sales guy who would never return my calls or emails after assuring me he would be my main point of contact. Every attempt to contact him I would get a response from his "manager," never him. Bad business, and worse customer service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL COSTS.
My impressions of Thomas and Brooks were satisfactory. They were on the dot on a moving day, introduced themselves, and surveyed my former place to inventory what needed to be relocated. The movers had no trouble with my several appliances, including a refrigerator, washing and dryer, and microwave.

I was given an original estimate but just a few days before my move I was given a new amount and my origin/destination fee double just because I needed an extra 80 cubic feet. I ended up having to pay an extra $2000 just for additional 80 cubic feet. This company doubled the origin/destination fee. So if you decide to go with this company, expect to pay thousands more than your original estimate.

They hustled and remained cool as cucumbers, safeguarding our belongings from the relentless heat.
